He is the author of seven books, including Love and Death: The Murder Of Kurt Cobain and Fire and Rain: The James Taylor Story, and a biography of Celine Dion. He has contributed to 60 Minutes 2 and Court TV. Halperin has been featured on Dateline, The Today Show, Howard Stern and Paula Zahn. When he posed as a model in 2001 to expose the fashion industry, his expose book, Bad & Beautiful, became an international bestseller. Jackie Collins named it her "book of the year" in the 2002 London Daily Mail year-end roundup. Halperin is also a highly acclaimed saxophonist/composer.
