Born in Massachusetts and raised in Arizona, Scott Silbor is a working actor, producer, editor & singer-songwriter.
Classically trained at the University of Arizona, Scott ventured into Chicago's vibrant theatre scene in 1997. He performed in a number of plays around town with such theatre companies as Strawdog, Emerald City and Defiant as well as the Lyric Opera of Chicago, where he and a handful of other musically talented actors formed the rock band, Orson's Well in 1999. They recorded an album, played all over the Midwest and had a merchandising deal with Jagermeister. After a couple years of local rock stardom, the band split up and Scott returned to the stage, dabbling in improv at Improv Olympic. Then Scott was cast in the independent film "Parked." This inspired his move to Los Angeles in 2005 where he was began work in television, film & commercials.
In 2008, Scott was given to opportunity to work on both sides of the camera in television production - steadily working in production and as an actor. It was during this time where he formed his second band, Cheat You Fair, with whom he recorded 2 albums, played live shows all over Los Angeles, released a few music videos and appeared in the raunchy independent comedy, Sex Dot Com.
in 2013, Scott began his career as a television producer - helping craft hundreds of episodes of reality, true crime and documentary television. In 2020, he began editing music videos for his newly reunited band, Orson's Well.
A proud member of both SAG-AFTRA & ASCAP, Scott continues to write and record original music, produce television and occasionally in act in commercials, television & film.
