An in-name only sequel- it’s been six years since the last S.W.A.T. movie, Firefight, and you Really don’t have to have seen the previous film – or the 2003 original – to appreciate this, the third film in the S.W.A.T. franchise. Yet another take on the Assault on Precinct 13 story model, S.W.A.T.: Under Siege sees a Swat compound come under fire from an international terrorist who relentlessly and violently pursues a mystery man who was apprehended by Seattle Swat after a raid went horribly wrong.

So why now? Why make another S.W.A.T. film now? Maybe it’s because CBS are planning a new TV iteration of the classic series,

Cert: 18

Running Time: 86 mins approx.

Special Features: The Making Of Vendetta / A Haunted Location / A Big Transformation

If the idea of ex-Superman Dean Cain facing off against star wrestler Paul ‘The Big Show’ Wight within the confines of a maximum security prison is your idea of a fun night in, then Vendetta is the movie for you. Co-produced by WWE Studios, it’s as pacey and wince-inducing as a brisk bout in the ring and has about as much depth as a neon leotard.

Cain plays Mason Danvers, a cop whose failure to put away malevolent man mountain Victor Abbot (Wight) leads to the brutal death of his wife and unborn baby in a revenge attack. Fuelled by grief, he murders Victor’s associates in a desperate

“Get Ready for Hell in a Cell”

The Soska Twins (American Mary) have seemingly gone from strength to strength. The pair first appeared on the radar with their film Dead Hooker in a Trunk and received great acclaim with their body modification horror, American Mary, starring Katharine Isabelle (Ginger Snaps). Thanks to the success of that film, they have been involved in projects such as The ABC’s of Death 2 and began a relationship with WWE Films starting with quite frankly god awful See No Evil 2. It’s safe to say that the pair have made quite an impact within the horror scene within a remarkably short time,

Helix Season 2 Blu-ray and DVD Release Date, Details and Cover Art

The most bizarre and trippy series on television over the past two years will wrap up its home video campaign when Sony Pictures Home Entertainment brings Syfy's Helix Season 2 to Blu-ray and DVD on a July 28, 2015 release date.

The second season of Helix stars Billy Campbell, Kyra Zagorsky, Matt Long, Mark Ghanime, Jordan Hayes, Neil Napier, Alison Louder, Severn Thompson and Steven Weber. The series was co-executive produced by Battlestar Galactica's Ronald D. Moore and followed a Cdc team that encountered an incredibly dangerous virus and a sinister plot behind its creation and dispersion.

Season 2 went an entirely new direction following the chilly events of Season 1 and creatively jumped the shark a little, resulting in Syfy not picking up the series for a third season despite an intriguing cliffhanger ending that jumped into the future. Regardless of its short run, Helix is definitely worth a watch from beginning to its abbreviated end.

New "Helix" Season 2 Promo Arrives

Syfy's Arctic-set, pandemic-themed, sci-fi/horror series "Helix" became infamous last year for it's sheer craziness. Character and plot curveballs were thrown fast left and right to the point that it didn't make a whole lot of sense - especially towards the end.

The network has now released a new trailer for the show's second season which moves the action to a mysterious tropical island where a science-based cult is falling victim to a disease which Dr. Alan Farragut (Billy Campbell) and his team investigates.

Steven Weber looks to be essentially taking on the Hiroyuki Sanada role this time of the scientist in charge of the isolated locale who isn't letting on as to the extent of his involvement.

How the Ilaria group and the events of the finale tie into this is unknown at this point, but Julia (Kyra Zagorsky), Sarah (Jordan Hayes) and Peter (Neil Napier) are all returning.

Helix Season 2 Trailer Leaves the Snow Behind

Syfy's Helix is coming back in January for a second season, and the first Helix Season 2 trailer reminds us that the days of blustery snowstorms and arctic chills that dominated the first season are a thing of the past.

In Helix Season 2, the Cdc is sent to investigate a deadly outbreak of "something" on a Windjammer cruise ship that may or may not be tied to the Narvik outbreak at Arctic Biosystems. The investigation leads the team to a strange island where a group of people have formed a cult intent on creation a Utopian society at any cost. You'll get a peek at the doomed ship in the new trailer below.

There are a handful of lingering questions from the wonky Season 1 finale. What is Ilaria up to now and how have they seduced Julia not only into their ranks, but as their CEO? Is Peter truly cured, or

Casting News and More Details on Helix Season 2
