Quentin Tarantino could be working on an “Inglorious Basterds” reunion, but the director’s new film looks to hew a little closer to the truth.

Tarantino, along with long-time producers Harvey and Bob Weinstein, are reportedly putting together a new film based on the Manson Family murders. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brad Pitt, who starred in the 2009 film “Inglourious Basterds” has been approached to star, as has Jennifer Lawrence.

Wme is reportedly looking for studios to co-finance the picture, which could be ready to pitch as soon as Labor Day and shoot by summer 2018.

If the movie comes together, it would be Tarantino’s first film to be based on true events, assuming you don’t count Aldo Raine’s murderous rampage through Germany in “Inglourious Basterds.” Though no script details have been confirmed, one story is said to focus on Sharon Tate, the actress who was murdered by »

First Kill Trailer Teams Bruce Willis and Hayden Christensen

8 June 2017 11:56 AM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Hayden Christensen only has one shot to save his son's life in the new trailer and poster for First Kill with Bruce Willis. This action-thriller is the latest from director Steven C. Miller, who recently wrapped production on the highly-anticipated Escape Plan 2: Hades, starring another big screen icon, Sylvester Stallone. First Kill actually marks the third collaboration between Steven C. Miller and Bruce Willis, following 2015's Extraction and last year's Marauders.

Lionsgate debuted the first trailer today, along with the poster which features both Hayden Christensen and Bruce Willis. In order to reconnect with his son Danny (Ty Shelton), big shot Wall Street broker Will (Hayden Christensen) takes his family on a hunting trip to the cabin where he grew up. While out hunting with Danny, the trip takes a deadly turn when they stumble upon several robbers and witness the murder of one of the criminals.

"Let go of my son right now!" Lionsgate Premiere has unveiled the first trailer for an action thriller titled First Kill, from director Steven C. Miller, of the films Marauders and Arsenal most recently. It looks like Hayden Christensen is back! First time we've seen him in years, also in the trailer for Numb, at the Edge of the End from last week. Christensen stars as a Wall Street broker who ends up with his family in the small town where he grew up. When they witness a murder, the criminals take his son hostage, and he must help them get free in order to save his family. Bruce Willis stars as the local police chief, and the cast includes Ty Shelton, Gethin Anthony, Megan Leonard, & William DeMeo. This looks forgettable, if you ask me. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Steven C. Miller's First Kill, originally from »
