Review: Zombieworld

Good lord, have I had to slap myself in the face so many time lately. Continually being the ass that proclaims that the zombie subgenre has nothing new to offer, just to be broadsided with such Very good films such as Wyrmwood: Road Of The Dead, Zombie Killers: Elephant’S Graveyard and now joining that group of fresh takes on the throat biters: Zombieworld. Injecting not only a massive amount of energy into the somewhat stagnant zombie film subgenre, but also a sense of humor that will either make you laugh hysterically, or offend the hell out of you, the mulitple-director filled film is a breath of zombie fumed air, and something to watch for a genuinely wicked time.

While a film like this typically suffers from its wraparound, Zombieworld never suffers that fate, instead giving us a recently bitten newscaster (played absolutely deadpan by genre regular Bill Oberst. Jr. »

Never Let Go Trailer and Premiere Details: “Here is a sneak preview of what’s up for grabs at the Berlin Film Festival later this week – Howard J Ford’s (Director/Producer Co-Writer of ‘The Dead 1&2″) latest epic Never Let Go. Shot in Morocco, Spain and the Us, the film tells the story of Lisa, a single mother (played by Angela Dixon) who takes the law into her own hands to get back her abducted child. Hey creeps. Ya know what ol’ Xiii really digs? Why… yeah, I guess you’re right, I do enjoy a good brioche… so much rich and tender texture, so bready…so… Dammit, you know that’s not what I was thinking about! Of course I was referring to my ne’er ending love of all things “monster”. So you can only imagine my delight upon hearing that there was a new monster mash headin’ our way entitled Frankenstein Vs. The Mummy! While I will be turning my outré eye upon the film soon, I thought I’d chat up the films die-rector, diabolical Damien Leone!
