Linnda Durre' was accepted to and attended Edward Albee's Master Class Seminar in Playwrighting at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida for which she wrote the play, "The Viewing" and she adapted it for a short film, which she also directed, produced, and cast, starring Mimi Lipka, former performance coach at Universal Studios, as the mother; Sarah Benz Phillips as the daughter, and Frank Taylor as the deceased father in the casket.

"The Viewing" was an official selection at the 2005 Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival, the Delray Beach Film Festival and it was a finalist in the Best of Florida/Made in Florida Film Festival. The film also won two Crystal Reel Awards from FMPTA - the Florida Motion Picture and Television Association - in 2005 for "Best Short Script" by Linnda Durre' and "Best Supporting Actress" for Sarah Benz Phillips. The film was edited by Erik Reiss and shot by cinematography instructor Robert Perry, both on the faculty of Full Sail University, Winter Park, Florida. Producers were Mike Hersh, Linnda Durre', Adam Arnali, and Steve Shea. Executive producers were Veronica Sommer and Christel Wight. The short 22 minute film was shot in two days for approximately $4,000.

Linnda also took Bob McKee's course in Los Angeles as well as studied at AFI in Los Angeles - the American Film Institute.

Linnda is one of the producers of "Know the Signs", the indie film written, directed, and produced by Antonio R. Cannady, which was shot in four days. The film, which is about domestic violence and dating violence, premieres on October 1st to coincide with National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Over the years, Linnda Durre' has served on the Women's Committee of the Writers Guild of America after being admitted to WGA for selling a TV show to Aaron Spelling when she was 22 years old. In 1992 and 1994, she was a judge for "Best Writing" for two years for cable TV's ACE Awards before they were absorbed into the Emmys. She served on the Publicity & Fund-Raising Sub-Committees for the WGA Women's Filmmakers' Program,Member, Los Angeles, CA. She served as the Co-Chariwoman on the Hospitality Sub-Committee of the SAG/WGA Direct Access Program, Los Angeles, CA.
Linnda served on a joint panel sponsored by the Women's Committees of SAG, WGA, and DGA on with fellow panel members including actors Christine Lahti and Gregory Harrison; director Martha Coolidge; Carol Polakoff, executive producer of "Sexual Advances," a TV movie starring Stephanie Zimbalist and Terry O'Quinn; Marilyn Solomon, chairperson; Annabella Hwa, California State Administrator; and California State Senator, Sheila James Kuehl (Zelda Gilroy in TV series "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis"). Coordinators and contributors to the event included actress, SAG Board Member, and event coordinator, Lisa Pelikan; SAG Women's Committee Chair, Christina Belford; and SAG Affirmative Action head, Rodney Mitchell.
Having a Ph.D. in psychology and years of experience as a psychotherapist only adds more to Dr. Durre's expertise as writer and an acting coach on both coasts. She has worked as a script consultant/editor with many TV and screenwriters, playwrights, and authors, as well as with comedians to perfect their stand-up routines. She wrote her own stand up routine and has appeared herself at open mike nights at The Improv, The Comedy Store, and Creative Stages. Her stand up routine ran on Orlando's CBS affiliate WKMG's Comedy Night School and on the National Lampoon Channel.
Linnda was both a preliminary judge and a finalist judge for the 2014 Florida Student Film Festival for high school and college filmmakers. Kyle Snavely is president of the Florida Student Art Festival. It was held at the Orlando Rep Theater on May 31, 2014 from 1 to 9 PM.
Linnda covered the 2014 and the 2015 Palm Springs International Film Festivals as a film journalist, film reviewer, and celebrity interviewer.
Linnda covered the June 2016 Nashville Film-Com and Script-Com Festival, and she interviewed film and TV producer, Oscar Turner, formerly with Tyler Perry's productions in Atlanta, and producer, Penny Styles, who are collaborating on an epic TV series about Australia. Her other Nashville and Alabama interviews include: Jimmy Johnson, the legendary member of Muscle Shoals Rhythm section, who recorded with the Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys, Percy Sledge, Wilson Pickett, Paul Simon, Bob Seger, and many others. Linda interviewed Dave Gibson, songwriter of seven #1 country hits; Gabriel Wren, singer/songwriter; The Darlins - Erinn Bates and Jude Toy; the band, Jericho Woods; Dave Anderson, Music City Ambassador; 13 year old country singer/songwriter, Bailey James; and Ann Johnson, hugely successful Nashville recycling entrepreneur. Linnda visited the Tina Turner Museum in Brownsville and she had a Platinum Press Pass to Graceland. Linnda Durre' was the guest speaker at the Tennessee Women in Film and Media event in Nashville on Thursday, August 18 from 6-8 PM. The president is Nancy Puetz and Pam Lewis, founder of PLA Media, will be doing the PR for this event.
