The flick, which is currently at Cannes, stars Riley Keough, Julia Garner, Bill Sage, Wyatt Russell, and Ambyr Childers.

A seemingly wholesome and benevolent family, the Parkers have always kept to themselves, and for good reason. Behind closed doors, patriarch Frank rules the roost with a rigorous fervor, determined to keep his ancestral customs intact at any cost. As a torrential rainstorm moves into the area, tragedy strikes and his daughters Iris and Rose are forced to assume responsibilities that extend beyond those of a typical family. Jennifer Lawrence wore an all-black ensemble to catch a flight out of Lax yesterday. She was reportedly headed to Montreal to begin filming for her latest project, X-Men: Days of Future Past. Jennifer's on the go again after taking a trip last week to NYC, where she donned a Dior gown to make her debut trip up the stairs at the Met Gala. Also in attendance at the fashionable event was her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult, who was joined by his rumored new girlfriend, Riley Keough. There was no drama between Jennifer and Nicholas, though, since he shared on the red carpet that they are "friends." It looks like their new relationship status will help them professionally as well since they'll soon reunite on the set of the latest X-Men installment. View Slideshow › »

Nicholas Hoult and Riley Keough took a walk around NYC yesterday after they partied together at Monday night's Met Gala, where Nicholas's ex Jennifer Lawrence was also in attendance. There was no drama, though, since Nicholas shared with People that he and Jennifer are "friends" and that they're "about to work on a film together." Their upcoming project, X-Men: Days of Future Past, helps explain the duo's dinner date last week, which prompted speculation that they might be rekindling their romance after calling off their two-year relationship in January. It looks like Nicholas may now be moving on with Riley, after the two met while filming Mad Max: Fury Road, though he'll soon be back alongside Jennifer since filming on the seventh X-Men installment is already under way. Although more recently it’s been turned into a sort of supernatural chastity belt protecting teenage girls from the hunky guys they love, vampirism always served as a deeply erotic foundation for horror stories. Movies capitalizing on this are too numerous to count, but from Jess Franco’s Vampyros Lesbos to Francis Ford Coppola’s Dracula adaptation to, Xan Cassavetes’ Kiss of the Damned, the standouts among them have always infused the curse of becoming an immortal bloodsucker with a humanity and a romanticism that makes it resonate, even if it’s ultimately only in audiences’ loins.
Although it’s destined to draw comparisons to Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight saga, Cassavetes’ film is a significantly more mature – and sexy – take on vampire romance, approaching its subject with sophistication and sensuality even as it indulges in gore and terror that’s as metaphorical as it is visceral.

Nothing Human Loves Forever: Cassavetes’ Feature Debut Gloriously Vintage
Xan Cassavetes joins the family directorial legacy with her feature debut, Kiss of the Damned, a deliciously vintage throwback to the erotic horror output of the Hammer studio heyday. Previously, this Cassavetes was responsible for a 2004 documentary Z Channel: A Magnificent Obsession, and her fiction debut seems considerably removed both from her own work and that of the familial output. A visual feast with a killer sound design, she manages to invoke Stephanie Rothman and Jean Rollin, where naughty immortal creatures from the dark side explore a bloodlust as inextinguishable as their sexual desires.
Djuna (Josephine de La Baume), a beautiful, lovelorn vampire residing in a remote mansion in the Connecticut countryside spends her nights hunting animals in the surrounding woods and watching vintage cinema. The residence belongs to Xenia (Anna Mougalalis), an actress and older, wiser vampire, but the estate »

Watch out world, Julianne Hough is single and more than ready to mingle. If you believe the latest rumors, that is.
The 24-year-old actress split from Hollywood's golden boy Ryan Seacrest just a month ago after three years of dating, and already she's been linked to two supposedly smoldering men: an Australian named Tommy, and "Magic Mike" actor Alex Pettyfer.
Just yesterday, Hough -- who's been heating up Coachella with her endless legs and array of short shorts -- was seen "holding hands with a hunky Australian mystery man named Tommy" in the wee morning hours, per New York Post's Page Six.
Then today, Life & Style reports that the former dancer actually cozied up to British actor Pettyfer at the music festival. "Julianne and Alex were flirting a lot," an eyewitness at the A/X Armani Exchange Neon Carnival told the magazine. "She was standing on the back of a couch with her friends, »
