David P. Kronmiller is the son of former fundamentalist Baptist Missionaries and spent the first several years of his life living in the Amazon jungle in Brazil. Upon returning to the United States the Kronmiller's settled in Dallas, Texas where David would attend, and at times suffer through, elementary school while his parents continued their college education - his mother getting her degree in English and his father his PhD in Nuclear Physics/Quantum Mechanics. In the late 1980's his parents divorced and a short time later he moved with his father to San Diego, California. While in high school, like many, David caught the acting and directing bug, joining the theatre department. He would go on to get accepted into the University of Southern California where he majored in Political Science with a Pre-Law Emphasis. After a short time in that program David switched majors as he got accepted to the prestigious USC School of Cinema/Television's Production Program. After film school David made his living in the booming DVD industry working for Sony Pictures Entertainment. He also went on to write, direct and produce over fifteen short film and music video projects. His films, The Drive (2008) and Ever After, Happily (2008) were the first projects co-produced with his wife.
David is also the Editor in Chief of The Avocado Jungle, a blog site whose focus is finding understanding through dialog and debate (www.avocadojungle.com). He can also be found at CNN's iReport where he's been one of their busiest iReporters having covered the 2008 Election and various other stories that have appeared on CNN's broadcasts and websites - among his favorites are his report on Prop 8 entitled "Faith, Family and Marriage" and his coverage of Steve Braun, Nick Spano and Patrick Sapp's walk to Las Vegas from Los Angeles to support Obama.
