Supermodel Selita Ebanks is launching her own swimwear line.
The Victoria's Secret beauty will release Sass by Selita this autumn as well as an accompanying range of shoes and accessories.
She tells the New York Daily News, "I wanted a name that covers all of my aspirations in the designing world. Sass is basically the female version of swag... It takes a certain kind of women to have sass - very confident, sexy and independent."
Ebanks, who was previously engaged to Mariah Carey's husband Nick Cannon, will give fans a sneak peak of the collection during her U.S. TV show Rip the Runway on Wednesday. »

Kanye West may be heading to the Middle East to film another short film, according to sources familiar with the musician's plans.
The Observer reports that West -- who recently did a stint behind the turntables under the moniker Yeezy World Peace (yes, all caps) -- has sent scouts to the Gulf region to scout locations.
The film is expected to be a short art piece, in the vein of his 30-minute music video for "Runaway." The earlier film starred Victoria Secret's angel Selita Ebanks as a birdlike creature who descended upon West's home for a trip filled with eerie Michael Jackson tribute parades and fancy banquets interrupted by a troupe of ballerinas.
While West's plans are as yet unconfirmed, New York asks an important question: Does this mean Kanye won't have time for his "Jetsons" movie?

Actually, the headline lies. We are really having a hard time imagining what really went down at the party celebrating the reopening of Jay-z’s 40/40 Club in New York City last night. It was Hov’s first public appearance since the birth of Blue Ivy Carter, and Beyonce understandably chose to stay home. The sheer variety of attendees would blow our mind if we weren’t already used to Jay’s wide scope of influence: Warren Buffet, Selita Ebanks, Spike Lee, Mob Wives star Renee Graziano and Yankees pitcher Cc Sabathia were there along with his more musical pals like Ashanti, Wale, Questlove and Irv Gotti.
