Laurie Graham was born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada as Laurie J. Graham. She is an actress, known for The Enigma with a Stigma (2006) and The National (1970). She is married to Flynn.
She earned a BA degree from St Francis Xavier in Nova Scotia, and a diploma in radio and TV broadcasting from Algonquin College in Ontario. She started out as a writer and production assistant, then became a reporter and news reader for CJCB radio in Cape Breton. She joined CBC radio in 1989, eventually moving to CBC TV. She is the Halifax correspondent for The National news program, and lives in Bedford, Nova Scotia.
She was awarded the C.M. (Member of the Order of Canada) on July 11, 1988 for her services to sports in Canada.
