Kent Moran was born in New York City. Following college, he began pursuing an acting and music career.

After landing a few small roles in film and television, Kent moved to Los Angeles. He's appeared in an Armstrong print ad and in a Mercedes Commercial playing James Dean. He is now credited as a Screenwriter, Musician and an Actor.

He recently wrote and stars in "Listen to Your Heart", a made for television movie where he plays opposite Cybill Shepherd. Kent's brother Luke Moran also is an actor and appears in the movie.
