- Tim Lacatena was born in Anchorage, Alaska on Elmendorf Air Force Base. Best known for playing Andrew in the Touchstone hit "Step Up", Tim's other acting credits include "The Frozen Ground", "Last Man Standing", "House of Lies" and "The Cleaner". Lacatena has appeared in seven national commercials, including a Super Bowl spot with Carmen Electra. As a professional dancer, Tim has worked on "Black Swan" and "(500) Days of Summer". In season 7 of Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance", he made it to the choreography round of the LA auditions. Tim performed with the National Ballet of Canada and Boston Ballet, and trained at the School of American Ballet, Royal Ballet (London), EDGE and Millennium dance centers. His acting training includes: William Esper Studio, Playhouse West, Lesly Kahn and The Groundlings.
