Jonathan Cook is very active in the fine arts as an actor, playwright, film-maker, and musician. He's been a recipient of the Porter Fleming Literary Award twice with his plays Close to Home (2010) and Reflections (2013). He was also a semi-finalist in the 37th Annual Samuel French Off-Broadway Festival in New York City with his post-apocalyptic fantasy play Lobster Man. As an undergraduate at Augusta State University, he was given the opportunity to intern at NBC studios in New York, where he documented the experience in his short film There and Back Again (2006). The film went on to win the audience favorite award at the Reel Stories Film Festival. Musically, he's a founding member of the band Nine Day Descent where he takes on vocal and guitar duties.
