Miley Cyrus Lands 'Key Adviser' Role on The Voice Season 10

3 February 2016 3:22 PM, PST | TVLine.com | See recent TVLine.com news »

It’ll be a party at The Voice backstage in Season 10.

Pop star and noted rabble-rouser Miley Cyrus announced today — using her tongue and Twitter, naturally — that she’ll serve as “Key Advisor” for all four coaches (Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera) in its upcoming cycle.

Rihanna’s Anti Might Be the Beginning of the End for the Big Pop Album

29 January 2016 7:11 AM, PST | Vulture | See recent Vulture news »

Rihanna’s new album Anti is not here for you. This will come as a disappointment to some listeners, and it will even strike plenty as unfair — a breach of the pop-star-and-fan contract, in which our attention and adoration are rewarded with a predictable and easily digestible product — but if you’ve paid even fleeting attention to anything Rihanna’s done in the past four years, Anti’s unaccommodating attitude should come as no surprise. In the time since her last studio album, 2012’s murky, trap-pop prophesy Unapologetic, the 27-year-old Barbadian artist born Robyn Fenty has found plenty of non-musical places (Instagram, red carpets, secluded beaches) to polish her crown as the High Priestess of Not Giving a Fuck. Clothing optional, blunt dangling from her lips, middle finger to the Lord: Rihanna has become a modern master of the pop image — a kind of post-digital James Dean. She proved this once again this past Monday, »

Cara Delevingne Shares 'Valerian' Behind-the-Scenes Sneak Peek

16 January 2016 8:37 AM, PST | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

The Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets comic book isn't as a well known as the Marvel and DC titles, so when it comes to secrecy on set, there is little in trade for making sure people actually know what this is by the time it hits theaters in summer 2017. Helping to promote the movie firsthand is star Cara Delevingne, who has been constantly giving us sneak peeks behind the curtain ever since production started a few weeks ago. She is back on her personal Instagram page today, and she is showing a quick video of everyone hard at work, including herself.

Principle photography started on the Luc Besson written and directed film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets the first week of January. The movie stars Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne, and is slated for release July 21, 2017. Luc Besson based his screenplay on the French »

People's Choice Awards 2016 Winners: Watch Vin Diesel Sing for Paul Walker

7 January 2016 5:50 AM, PST | Moviefone | See recent Moviefone news »

Why does it never fail to water our eyes when Vin Diesel honors Paul Walker? He did it again last night at the People's Choice Awards, when giving a lengthy acceptance speech for "Furious 7," which won two awards. Vin name dropped the late actor, whom he has called his brother, and at the end of the speech he sang a verse from the film's end song, "See You Again."

Here's his full speech:

— People's Choice (@peopleschoice) January 7, 2016

The PCAs are sort of the start of awards season, but things don't really kick off until this Sunday's Golden Globes. There was a stage-crasher promoting a new album (that's him below), and Dakota Johnson talked about her boobs, but otherwise the 2016 PCAs just stuck with the tradition of honoring celebs »

American Idol Premiere Recap: Bleeping Up With the Kardashians

6 January 2016 6:59 PM, PST | TVLine.com | See recent TVLine.com news »

As somebody who’s been covering American Idol since the days of Bo-vs.-Carrie — don’t judge me, but I was staunchly #TeamBo — I’ll admit I’d hoped to begin my recap of the show’s farewell-season premiere by quoting Joni Mitchell’s “Big Yellow Taxi.” (No, current Idol contenders, none of whom were born prior to 1985, Janet Jackson did not originate the lyric, “Don’t it always seem to go/ That you don’t know what you’ve got ’til it’s gone.”)

Many Chart-Topping Recording Artists are in the Running for Oscars This Year

6 January 2016 6:00 AM, PST | Scott Feinberg | See recent Scott Feinberg news »

By Patrick Shanley

Managing Editor

The race for best original song at this year’s Academy Awards includes a number of big name recording artists whose work for film has been generating significant Oscar buzz.

In past years the category has seen a number of popular, chart-topping performers take home the statuette, including John Legend and Common’s “Glory” from last year’s best picture nominee Selma, about Martin Luther King’s historic march for civil rights and 2013’s “Skyfall”, performed and co-written by British songstress Adele with co-writer Paul Epworth, for the 007 film of the same name.

This year another James Bond theme is in the hunt for best original song, as Sam Smith’s “Writing’s on the Wall”, co-written with accomplished British songwriter James Napier (a.k.a. Jimmy Napes), the Spectre title track that became the first No. 1 in Bond theme history, has earned a Golden »

First Look at Cara Delevingne on the Set of Luc Besson's 'Valerian'

4 January 2016 5:25 PM, PST | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Cara Delevingne is ringing in the new year of 2016 by starting production on her latest movie, the sci-fi drama Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. The actress took to her Instagram page earlier today to share the first set photo. We also have a behind-the-scenes photo with the actress alongside her co-star Dane DeHaan, which comes from Luc Besson's own page. There isn't much that can be gleaned about the story from these photos, but hopefully we'll see even more as production continues, under the direction of Luc Besson.

The story centers on Valerian (Dane DeHaan) and Laureline (Cara Delevingne), who are exploring Syrte, capital planet of a system of 1,000 worlds. Their mission is to discover whether the Syrtians could present a danger to Earth. What they find is a decaying empire led by decadent aristocrats, a population ripe for revolution, and a mysterious caste of masked »

4 January 2016 8:30 AM, PST | POPSUGAR | See recent BuzzSugar news »

If you've ever seen Kelly Clarkson in concert, you'll know that she usually takes time during her set to sing a cover - sometimes it's one of her favorite classics, and sometimes it's a current hit that she's obsessing over. Over the past couple of years, we've seen videos popping up of the former American Idol star singing gorgeous renditions of everything from Sam Smith's "Stay With Me" to Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" - she even covered Rihanna's saucy "B*tch Better Have My Money"! We've rounded up all the times Kelly sang another pop star's song . . . and totally killed it. Scroll through to listen to them all now. »
