A Southern Illinois University graduate and suburban Chicago native, Kevin Metzinger got hooked on making short films at age 13 with his good friends. Such titles include, "The Immortals 1-7", "The Deadly Alliance", "Drug Trade", and "Fear: The Final Reckoning". Chasing his dream of making entertainment, he studied television production and moved to LA. He interned at Davis Glick Entertainment and Pie Town Productions, and won an International Broadcasting Award for his promo entitled, "Wrongfully Accused" for TBS (2001).
In LA he had some tough times and challenges, and was almost sent home packing several times. He managed to turn his difficult times into inspiring internet shorts on his web site, www.11-11-productions.com. There he produced such works as, "Kev's LA Story 1-4", "Profile of a Man", and "What a Wonderful World".
He is still following his dream of making entertainment after working on, "Lingo Seasons 1 and 3", "Miss USA 2003", "Miss Universe 2003", "Miss Teen USA 2003", "Extreme Makeover Home Edition", "Funny Money", "Fitness Fantasy", and "Honeymoon Adventures".
He was also featured (noncredited) in "Chuck Woolery's: Naturally Stoned" as himself, episode 5. His life was contrasted against Chuck's, which wasn't very hard to do considering Woolery is rich and Metzinger is not. He can also be seen in the background of various episodes of "Extreme Makover Home Edition" seasons 1 and 2, and in the background of "The Weakest Link", the episode with Carrott Top.
Favorite drink is a Captain and Coke.
His favorite show of all time is Star Trek The Next Generation.
Loves to do karaoke, especially to Billy Joel.
