Mini Bio (1)

Katelyn Pippy is one of today's most dynamic teen actresses with the perfect mixture of talent, intelligence, athleticism and stunning looks. Katelyn is gearing up for her fourth season on the hit show, Army Wives (2007), which is scheduled to start filming in Charleston, South Carolina in early 2011. Ever since joining the cast as daughter "Emmalin Holden", of Emmy-award winning actress, Kim Delany's character in 2008, Katelyn has left an indelible impact. As the youngest lead actress on Army Wives (2007), the character Katelyn portrays - a recent high school graduate faced with the challenges of growing up on an Army base - "Emmalin", has become an integral part of the story-line. At the end of the most current season, her character parallels what the gifted actress is facing in real life... the infinite possibilities that graduating high school students face before going off to college. The season finale August 22nd, which focused entirely on Katelyn's character, "A Family Reunited," was the most watched episode of the series all year long. Katelyn has been acting since age nine with impressive television, film and theatre roles. Her credits include Disney's The Suite Life of Zack and Cody (2005), critical favorite Monk (2002), which stars five-time Emmy-award winner Tony Shalhoub, and The Haunting Hour: Don't Think About It (2007), adapted from favorite young adult writer R.L Stein. Her accomplishments includes extensive musical theatre, ranging from "Annie", "Little Shop of Horrors", "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat" and Stephen Schwartz's "Captain Louie".

Katelyn recently graduated from Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School in her hometown of Pittsburgh, while simultaneously starring in a hit T.V. series. Katelyn maintained exceptional grades, which earned her acceptance to Cornell University. She has delayed entry to focus on her acting career with intentions on enrolling at the Ivy League University for Fall 2011. She will pursue her Bachelor of Arts degree, Theatre Arts and will play on their women's hockey team. The little leisure time she has is spent lending support in children's and animal rights initiatives.
