Has Geraldo Rivera Heard from Donald Trump After Dressing Up as Him on Dancing With the Stars?

29 March 2016 7:41 AM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

Dancing  With the Stars' viewers message to Geraldo Rivera on Monday night: You're fired. The 72-year-old Fox News host had the unfortunate distinction of being the first celebrity eliminated during season 22...and he was eliminated while dressed as presidential nominee Donald Trump, wig and all. (His pro partner Edyta Sliwinska was dressed as Trump's wife, Melania.) His stance? To make dance great again, which unfortunately didn't happen, as he landed just 13 points from the judges. During the package before his performance, Geraldo said he was friends with the politician, who fired the TV personality when he was on Celebrity Apprentice, and thought he would "get a kick" out of »

Geraldo Rivera’s Donald Trump Costume Gets Him Eliminated from Dancing with the Stars

Geraldo Rivera and dance partner Edyta Sliwinska tried to spice things up a little bit on Dancing with the Stars last night.  The two decided to dress up as Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump.  Given that Geraldo wasn’t in the greatest standing with the judges, this was more than likely a desperate shot to keep himself from being tossed.  Unfortunately the plan didn’t work.   Rivera put on the blondish wig, a fancy suit, and filled out the attire by making his face a bit more orange than normal. His partner Edyta simply dressed in a sexy outfit and

Geraldo Does Epically Bad Donald Trump Skit on Dancing with the Stars

Fox News host and known terpsichorean dumpster fire Geraldo Rivera really outdid himself on Monday night's episode of ABC's hit show Dancing with the Stars, building on his already poor audience response with a number that attempted to satirize Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump. In full Trump regalia, including orange mustache, Rivera and unlucky partner Edyta Sliwinska populated a White House set. »

Dancing with the Stars: Who Was Season 22's First Elimination?

28 March 2016 7:30 PM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

Too bad so sad. That's our slightly sarcastic reaction to tonight's Dancing with the Stars elimination. We were neither surprised nor really that upset to see Geraldo Rivera and partner Edyta Sliwinska sent home after two disastrous attempts at dancing (on Geraldo's part). We don't feel bad saying that, because he knew it himself. "I would have demanded a recount," he said of the alternate universe in which he was not sent home. Hopefully, the fact that we won't have to see him on the dance floor again will help us erase the image of him dressed as Donald Trump, because that's how he decided to celebrate Latin night. We'd prefer to pretend it never happened, and we will »

Mischa Barton admitted that it's been a challenging week on Dancing with the Stars. During Monday's episode , Barton appeared to be in a good mood and was smiling, until her video package began airing. The video package showed her struggling during rehearsals, telling pro Artem Chigvintsev that she felt "beyond not good" about their upcoming performance. The package also showed Chigvintsev remarking that DWTS "should be fun," and "not as dramatic as it is now." As the video package played, Chigvintsev noticed his star was seeming to deflate, and kept trying to cheer her up. "It's been a really rough week. »

Geraldo Rivera Responds to "Cruel" Dancing With the Stars Criticism

22 March 2016 10:57 AM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

"Well, Edyta did great." That was how Geraldo Rivera summer up his Dancing With the Stars debut when he and professional partner Edyta Sliwinska chatted with E! News' Sibley Scoles after Monday night's premiere. And it was a rough night for the 72-year-old Fox News host, as his Cha Cha scored just a 13 out of 30 points from the judges, and earned some particularly harsh criticism from returning head judge Len Goodman (who served up his signature brutal honesty all night). But Geraldo wasn't too upset with Len's comments, telling us, "I thought that his critique, while cruel, was pretty accurate." Ever-protective of her celebrity pupil, his partner Edyta added, "It makes for great »

Dancing with the Stars is back, and as Carrie Ann Inaba said near the end of the two-hour premiere, there were a lot of good things happening in the ballroom. Among the highlights: Boyz II Men's Wanya Morris brought the house down with his dance to his band's 1991 hit "Motown Philly." Deaf model Nyle Dimarco proved that even though he couldn't hear the music, he could still wow the judges thanks to hard work and help from pro Peta Murgatroyd. Mirrorball, Mirrorball up for grabs, on which Dancing With the Stars couple should we keep close tabs?

That’s the question the ABC competition’s Season 22 premiere posed Monday, when 12 couples took to the parquet to prove their dancing prowess… or just pray that their number ended without any major injuries.

Indeed, the new crop of Bindi Irwin-wannabes includes competitors who are quick studies with charisma to spare (such as Good Morning America weatherwoman Ginger Zee and pro football player Von Miller), middle-of-the-packers who could go either way (such as Facts of Life alum Kim Fields and Donald Trump »
