Worked on The World's Fastest Indian with Anthony Hopkins. While he was talking to Mr. Hopkins, Tony explained to him that he likes to write music. Jim told Tony that he played the flute from 4th grade but gave it up after junior high school. After working on the film, Jim told his mother that Tony chastised him for giving up music.
