- Maurice Sendak, children's illustrator, directed Ms. Dalen in the musical version of his book, "Really Rosie".
- On Broadway she covered the role of Shelly in Sam Shepard's "Buried Child", directed by Gary Sinise and produced by the Steppenwolf Theatre Company.
- (August 17 to September 11, 2004) She played the Waitress in the musical, "Hank Williams: Lost Highway," in a Brown-Forman Series production at the Actors Theatre of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky with Van Zeller (Hank Williams); Gregory Porter (Tee-Tot); Adale O'Brien (Mama Lilly); Stephen G. Anthony (Hoss); Myk Watford (Jimmy "Burrhead"); Drew Perkins (Leon "Loudmouth"); Bob Burrus (Fred "Pap" Rose); Tertia Lynch (Audrey Williams) and Mike Stidolph (Shag) in the cast. Mark Harlik & Randal Myler wrote the book. Randal Myer was also director. Dan Wheetman was music director.
