Time started moving in slow motion for Arsenio Hall when Donald Trump named him the winner of "The Celebrity Apprentice" on NBC Sunday (May 20) night, but the win and publicity surrounding the show could potentially put his return to show business on the fast track.
Arsenio tells Zap2it Monday that his business manager has been on the phone all morning following the former late-night host's big win.
"And I hope it's more than Walgreens," Arsenio jokes, referring to one of the show's featured sponsors during the season.
Arsenio beat out fellow finalist and "American Idol" runner-up Clay Aiken, but there's no bad blood between these two, who dueted on a performance of "Lean On Me" during the live finale. But what about between Arsenio and Aubrey O'Day, with whom he famously had a falling out during the season?

The comedian and the crooner - Arsenio Hall and Clay Aiken - squared off for the title of Celebrity Apprentice on Sunday night, seeking to be Donald Trump's latest favored protégé. The task at hand was to create a celebrity variety show and a 30-second public-service announcement for their respective charities. In a close race, Hall, 56, ended up winning after producing a comedy show with his team of Adam Corolla, Lisa Lampanelli, Paul Teutel Sr. and Teresa Giudice. Aiken, 33, chose a carnival theme with his team of Penn Jillette, Debbie Gibson, Dee Snider and Aubrey O'Day. Aiken raised »

Aubrey O'Day was still bitter about not making the final two on "The Celebrity Apprentice" (Sun., 9 p.m. Et on NBC). In the season finale, the third place finisher performed "I Will Survive" and gave Donald Trump a hard glare on the line, "You did me wrong."
She made sure the audience knew it, too, explaining her move later. Ultimately, though, it wasn't about Aubrey O'Day. It was about whether or not Donald Trump would hire Arsenio Hall or Clay Aiken. In their final challenge, Aiken raised nearly twice as much money as Hall did, but Hall had that perfect track record as a project manager. But he also had that very ugly blow-up with O'Day -- their feud pretty much ran the entire length of the season.
So who won in the end? Trump said he'd never been so torn, while Entertainment Weekly pointed out that this was going »

Eighteen celebrities entered Donald Trump's boardroom during the first episode of this season's "The Celebrity Apprentice," but in the end it all came down to former late-night host Arsenio Hall and "American Idol" runner-up Clay Aiken. So who emerged victorious, winning $250,000 for his charity?
Trump announced Sunday (May 20) night during the live "Celebrity Apprentice" finale that Arsenio is the winner.
For their final challenge, Arsenio and Clay were tasked with creating an ad and a fundraising event with a variety show for their respective charities -- the National Inclusion Project for Clay and the Magic Johnson Foundation for Arsenio. Clay and Arsenio both created great videos and events, entertaining the crowd with a stellar comedy lineup -- including Adam Carolla and Lisa Lampanelli -- and singers like Debbie Gibson and Aubrey O'Day. In the end, Arsenio's team raised more than $160,000, while Clay's team raised an astounding $301,500.

During the two-hour live finale for "The Celebrity Apprentice" on NBC Sunday (May 20) night, Donald Trump welcomed the previously fired contestants to the stage (minus Cheryl Tiegs and Michael Andretti, though his dad, Mario Andretti, did drive Donald Trump to the live show) -- including Victoria Gotti, George Takei, Tia Carrere, Patricia Velasquez, Lou Ferrigno, Dayana Mendoza, Aubrey O'Day, Lisa Lampanelli, Teresa Giudice, Dee Snider, Penn Jillette, Lisa Lampanelli, Debbie Gibson and Adam Carolla.
Find out who won "The Celebrity Apprentice."
Here are a few things we learned:
- Lou had surgery for his hearing impairment. "For the first time in my life I can hear without a hearing aid," he tells Donald.
- Dayana has nothing positive to say about Lisa, but Lisa thinks Dayana's crying impersonation of her was hilarious. "I think she's great," Lisa says about Dayana. "I love being made fun of. I dish it out and I can take it. »

Then they showed new footage of the two finalists Clay Aiken and Arsenio Hall, working on their task for the final showdown. Arsenio started having issues with Adam Carolla, because Arseno felt he wasn't able to get his ideas in. Meanwhile, Clay was finally happy with something Debbie Gibson did. Next, Trump introduced some of the past celeb contestants back to the live show. At one point, Dayana Mendoza said, she had nothing positive to say about Lisa Lampanelli. "American Idol" runner-up Clay Aiken was a contender from the outset on NBC's "The Celebrity Apprentice," making it clear that he's not up for coming in second place again. While his co-finalist Arsenio Hall, though still a hard worker throughout the season, mostly established a reputation for losing it with teammate Aubrey O'Day and letting loose a tirade of choice expletives about the pop singer.
Donald Trump and others seemed satisfied that Arsenio stepped up and apologized for his actions, but many fans -- and Aubrey herself -- still have a bad taste in their mouths about the former talk show host. But will it cost him the win on Sunday (May 20) night? Will it have any impact at all on Trump's decision?
Probably not, being that he's made it to the final boardroom, but Trump's been swayed by beautiful women before (cough Dayana Mendoza cough). So perhaps a last-minute »

It's nearly time for The Celebrity Apprentice finale and the two finalists Clay Aiken and Arsenio Hall sat down with Entertainment Weekly's InsideTV to record a podcast, where they mainly discussed their fellow competitors - Dayana, Penn, Lisa and, of course, Aubrey O'Day. Though neither one knows who will win (the finale revealing the winner will be live), it seems the two have such strong friendship, they were more interested in discussing their experiences on the show than undermining their competition. Read on for some highlights and then watch the video preview for the finale on Sunday, May 20 at 9pm on NBC. »

"Celebrity Apprentice" finalist Arsenio Hall stopped by "The View" (weekdays on ABC), where he talked about his desire to host a talk show again and threw some pointed barbs in the direction of recently-eliminated "Apprentice" rival Aubrey O'Day.
"There was a moment where it was like seeing an old girlfriend I loved. I want a talk show again," Hall said. The entertainer walked away from "The Arsenio Hall Show" in 1994.
After that, Hall set his sights on his "Celebrity Apprentice" rival Aubrey O'Day. The two clashed on the show, and their feud appears to still be raging. Hall told a story in which he claimed O'Day had showed off nude photos of black men she had slept with. "She had a collection of different men she had been with," Hall said.
O'Day was apparently watching the appearance, and was none to pleased about Hall's story. She tweeted, "Just got off the phone with @Teresa_Giudice! »

She was one of the most polarizing characters in Celebrity Apprentice history — a remarkable feat when you consider some of the people that have done time on that show. Never one to be shy with her opinions, Aubrey now looks back at her time on the program. Does she regret being so aggressive and domineering? What about calling Arsenio Hall “the biggest girl on this show? »

The penultimate episode of "The Celebrity Apprentice" (Sun., 9 pm. Et on NBC) offered up perhaps the most shocking elimination yet. For much of the season, Aubrey O'Day has been a major player, but she's also been very abrasive and opinionated.
To Donald Trump, that equates to her being "transparent," and it was for that reason that she was fired. But O'Day didn't understand what Trump meant by calling her "transparent."
"There’s nothing see-through about me," she said. "I am somebody that is in your face and shines so bright!"
O'Day wasn't gone for long, though. Clay Aiken brought her back in for the final challenge against his lone remaining opponent Arsenio Hall. They had to put together and star in a variety show for their respective charities.
Next week, one of the men will walk away with the whole prize. Aiken would appear to be the favorite based on »

As one of the two finalists on Sunday's (May 13) "The Celebrity Apprentice," Clay Aiken is having deja vu, but he says, "this time, I ain't gonna lose." The "American Idol" runner-up is going head-to-head with former late-night host Arsenio Hall as they compete to be crowned Donald Trump's latest "Celebrity Apprentice," and Clay seems determined to win. But with Lisa Lampanelli, Adam Carolla, Paul Teutul Sr. and Teresa Giudice backing up Arsenio, can Clay take him?
Maybe, especially since it looks like one of Arsenio's own team members, Lisa, has sort of defected -- she calls Clay up during the task to tell him she'll be donating a check to his charity. To be fair, though, it seems like she's giving a chunk of change to Arsenio's charity as well. Clay's not floundering out there all alone, though, as he has a strong team of former celeb-testants helping him out too, »
