Lesbian story line coming to 'Bold and the Beautiful' -- Exclusive

CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful plans to bring back a popular character from Guiding Light to help launch its first-ever lesbian story line.

EW has learned exclusively that Crystal Chappell (pictured, left) — who was last seen playing Olivia, the popular lesbian lover of Natalia (Jessica Leccia) on Guiding Light — will portray Danielle, the other mother of Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey, pictured, center). Caroline was introduced last month as the never-before-seen daughter of Karen Spencer, who is played by longtime B&B favorite Joanna Johnson (pictured, right). Johnson returned to the sudser last month to begin the romantic story line. »

Keep an eye on your iced tea, residents of General Hospital‘s Port Charles, because Heather Webber (played by Robin Mattson) is coming back to town.

And in another noteworthy daytime-tv homecoming, Joanna Johnson is returning to The Bold and the Beautiful.

Mattson, who originally played the role of Jeff Webber’s off-kilter sweetheart in the early 1980s (and last reprised it in 2004), is due for an encore in late March/early April, per Soap Opera Digest. Her return storyline will involve son Steven (né Steven Lars, played by Scott Reeves).

The Culling Shows Characters Trapped by an Unspeakable Evil: First Photos

The Culling is a horror thriller from Safady Entertainment and Silver Lining Media Group that features Elizabeth Di Prinzio (The Devil Within) as Emily, a woman trapped in sinister plot. Lured by a young girl, a group of college age friends find themselves in an evil trap. The tension mounts as the girl's parents begin to cull the characters. The weakest die first!

Now, several movie stills have become available for this picture and two of them, from the set, are featured here. The first photo features actress Di Prinzio and the second one below features Chris Coy. Will either character survive? Those details will be revealed shortly when the trailer becomes available.

Director: Rustam Branaman.

Starring Jeremy Sumpter, Elizabeth Di Prinzio, Brett Davern, Chris Coy, Linsey Godfrey, Virginia Williams, Johnathon Schaech, and Harley Graham, The Culling follows a group of college students lured into a supernatural trap by a young girl. In her eerie home a mysterious man, her father, and her mother (Virginia Williams) await them with cruel intentions. The film has just wrapped production and we’ve been sent the very first images from the film:

We have been informed the indie horror film The Culling has wrapped production for Safady Entertainment and Silver Lining Media Group.  And, inside, you'll find the first photos from the film.

The film is directed by Rustam Branaman and concerns five friends who head out of town for road trip to a summer concert. A change of plans arise as they find a seven-year-old girl left alone in a parking, leaving them no choice but to find her parents. The little girl’s house is well out of the way and secluded.  When they arrive at her house it’s quickly apparent they will have to stay for the night.  What is not is foreseen is the evil nightmare they are about to encounter.
