Ted Takes the June 29th Release Date Vacated by G.I. Joe: Retaliation!

23 May 2012 6:24 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Earlier today, we reported that Paramount moved G.I. Joe Retaliation from June 29 to March 29, 2013, for a 3D conversion. Universal Pictures isn't letting that prime release date go to waste, moving the comedy Ted into the vacated June 29 slot.

The Seth MacFarlane-directed comedy was originally slated for a July 13 release, where it would have gone up against the Fox animated sequel Ice Age: Continental Drift. Ted will have a bit more competition now, facing Warner Bros.' Magic Mike, Disney's People Like Us, and Lionsgate's Tyler Perry's Madea's Witness Protection in its new release date.

The R-rated comedy centers on John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg), who made a childhood wish that his teddy bear would come to life. Years later, the teddy bear (voiced by Seth MacFarlane) still lives with him, although the stuffed animal has become a bad influence on John.

CW Upfronts Celebrate Hot Hollywood With The Casts Of 90210, Supernatural And The Vampire Diaries

18 May 2012 5:15 AM, PDT | TheFabLife - Movies | See recent TheFabLife - Movies news »

It shouldn’t be so surprising that the red carpet for the CW’s upfront presentation yesterday in New York City earns our highest praise, even after seeing the stars attend the events for Fox, CBS and NBC. After all, two of our favorite shows were heavily repp’d. We mean The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural. The former had a lot of the series’ stars showing up, Ian Somerhalder, Steven R. McQueen, Paul Wesley, Katerina Graham, Nina Dobrev, Candice Accola, Michael Trevino and Zach Roerig included. Nina looked terrific in a very tight, satin cream Dolce & Gabbana dress, while boyfriend Ian rocked a Rogue T-shirt and leather jacket with jeans. Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles both suited up for the Supernatural stakes, but next time, shave, guys!

A few ladies from 90210 were also spotted — Shenae Grimes, Jessica Stroup and Jessica Lowndes. These were by no means the only shows that the CW presented. »

’90210′ Season Finale Recap: Is [Spoiler] Really Dead?

15 May 2012 9:16 PM, PDT | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

Plus, Silver finally picks a baby daddy! What do you think of her decision? If the May 15 season finale of 90210 was turned into a late-'90s Fox game show, it would probably be called Who Wants To Impregnate A Teenager, as Silver (Jessica Stroup) spent the better part of the hour choosing which of her friends-with-benefits she wanted to make a baby with. Her choices: Navid (Michael Steger Jr.), who confessed his undying love for her, and Liam (Matt Lanter), who might actually be the only character on the show prettier than her. And after much careful consideration, Silver chose... ...Neither! In a surprising turn of events -- or not-so-surprising, depending on whether or not you noticed his name listed as a guest star -- Silver decided she wanted Teddy (Trevor Donovan) to knock her up. Real talk: That baby hasn't even been conceived yet, and it's already beautiful. »

'90210' finale: Naomi is a wedding crasher

15 May 2012 7:44 PM, PDT | Zap2It - From Inside the Box | See recent Zap2It - From Inside the Box news »

It's been a wild year of love and scandal in America's most famous Zip code. But before Season 4 of "90210" wraps, there's still the finale to focus on.

Here's what we learned on Tuesday's (May 15) episode.

[Spoiler alert]

Max and Naomi: The stress and awkwardness of setting up her one-time boyfriend's wedding makes Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) reconsider her feelings and her future. And it doesn't get any better when the bride-to-be thinks that she and Naomi are better friends than they really are. But taking a page from Benjamin Braddock in "The Graduate," Naomi decides to interrupt the wedding and profess her love. It turns out a little different than she'd hoped.

Navid, Silver and Liam: Silver (Jessica Stroup) is trying to get pregnant and is looking for a donor. While Navid (Michael Steger) steps up to offer his services, what he really wants to do is get back together with her. Meanwhile, »

'90210' Star Michael Steger Reveals He Was Bullied As A Child: 'You Feel Like You're Going To Die' (Exclusive)

15 May 2012 7:41 AM, PDT | Huffington Post | See recent Huffington Post news »

On the CW's hit series "90210," (Tuesdays, 8/7c), Michael Steger plays Navid Shirazi, a rich and confident college student who dates gorgeous girls like Jessica Stroup and Jessica Lowndes, and drives beautiful cars like this Lamborghini.

But in real life, Michael hasn't always been as cool and confident as his character, Navid. When he was growing up in Southern California, Steger says his peers in school bullied and tormented him on a daily basis.

"Childhood bullying was a big part of my life," reveals Steger, who recently directed and produced a one-woman show called "Brandee Built on Crazee."

The show, which starrred his wife, actress Brandee Tucker, chronicled the life of a six-year-old girl up until her teenage years.

"It's very autobiographical with an exagerrated comedic twist," explains Steger. "It deals with childhood bullies, and what it's like to fit in, and it's very moving," he said

’90210′ Recap: Who Should Be Silver’s Baby Daddy?

8 May 2012 9:41 PM, PDT | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

Plus, Naomi is faced with a legit crisis: Do you hope she intervenes and stops Max's wedding? As if it wasn't awkward enough that Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) is planning Max's (Josh Zuckerman) wedding, the May 8 episode of 90210 also found the Beverly Hills gang roped into attending their respective bachelor and bachelorette parties -- along with Nick Carter. And some hookers. After a night of debauchery -- which resulted in all of the guys getting arrested and Max's fiancée freeing all the sharks at the Aquarium of the Pacific -- Naomi finally had herself a little sit-down with Max. He asked her if she thought he was moving too quickly with Madison, and she said... nothing. That's right, Naomi was actually speechless for once. As was I. Meanwhile, Silver's (Jessica Stroup) big decision between Liam (Matt Lanter) and Navid (Michael Steger Jr.) got a little more complicated this week when Silver »

’90210′ Recap: Is Silver Pregnant With Liam’s Beautiful Baby?

1 May 2012 8:42 PM, PDT | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

Plus, a nerdy ghost from Naomi's past returns! It's official: Annie Wilson (Shenae Grimes) is going to hell. After committing vehicular manslaughter, cheating on her boyfriend, and having sex for money, the Kansas native sealed her fate on the May 1 episode of 90210 when she convinced priest-in-training Caleb (Robert Hoffman) to sleep with her. The only bright side? If she ever feels guilty, all she has to do is roll over and she's in Confession! You really can't beat that kind of convenience. In other irresponsible lady news, Silver (Jessica Stroup) found out she could be pregnant this week, which is bad for... well, pretty much everybody. As soon as Navid (Michael Steger) realized Liam (Matt Lanter) was the one who planted a tree in the Silver Forest -- that's how babies are made, right? -- he punched him square in his beautiful face, creating quite the scene on the red »

'90210': Matt Lanter talks about Liam's bizarre love triangle

1 May 2012 11:57 AM, PDT | Zap2It - From Inside the Box | See recent Zap2It - From Inside the Box news »

Matt Lanter needs a hug.

It's been a tough season for the "90210" hunk, specifically as it relates to his character's love life. Liam started off Season 4 of the teen drama with a twice-rejected marriage proposal and it just got worse from there. But now Lanter's character finds himself in a completely unexpected love triangle that will make things rough for the foreseeable future.

The trouble started after Silver (Jessica Stroup) learns she has a cancer gene. Looking for comfort, she momentarily finds it in the arms (and bed) of Liam. Thinking she's made a terrible error, she runs back to Navid (Michael Steger), this despite proclamations from Liam that he has feelings for her.

"It's kind of an interesting situation all around," Lanter explains. "Silver is kind of caught between both of these guys. [She has] history with Navid but it's kind of like the new thing that feels good with Liam. »

’90210′ Recap: Is Naomi Calling Off The Wedding?

24 April 2012 8:44 PM, PDT | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

Plus, Silver and Liam deal with the aftermath of their sexy times! Do you think they should become a real couple? 90210 finally returned from hiatus April 24, and it turns out the kids of Beverly Hills are more clueless than ever. They also appear to have completely given up on college -- but that's neither here nor there. Let's begin with Silver (Jessica Stroup), who might be the first girl in history to sleep with Matt Lanter, then flee in fear and tell him to keep it a secret. Personally, I'd have "I nailed Liam" t-shirts printed up and sent to all my friends. In Silver's defense, she does have a few things going against her: She's super-emotional after learning she has the cancer gene, and she's still wrestling with unresolved feelings for Navid (Michael Steger). She ended up begging her Persian Prince to stay in L.A. so they could »

Seth MacFarlane's Ted gets a red band trailer

Family Guy, American Dad! and The Cleveland Show creator Seth MacFarlane will make the jump from television to feature films this year as he brings his particular brand of humour to the big screen for the $65m-budgeted live-action comedy Ted. The film stars Mark Wahlberg (Contraband) as thirty-something Bostonian John Bennett who - as a child - made a wish that his favourite teddy bear (voiced by MacFarlane) would come to life, only to see said wish come true. John remains best friends with his cuddly companion into adulthood, but when he comes to move in with his girlfriend Lori (Mila Kunis; Black Swan), John finds his happiness threatened by Ted's foul-mouth, recreational drug use and general inappropriate behaviour.

In addition to lending his voice to the CG-animated Ted, MacFarlane also serves as director and co-writer alongside Family Guy regulars Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild. Family Guy alumni such »
