The Cult in 1983, when the band were still calling themselves 'Death Cult'. He performed on the band's untitled first single in June of 1983, playing a very unusual style, similar to Burundi-inspired tribal drumming. In September 1983, after only four months in the band, he was deported from England and shipped back to his home country of Sierra Leone.
