Arrow's Stephen Amell Teases Very Spoilery Season 6 Voiceover, New Crossover Toy and... Smiley Oliver?

17 September 2017 11:32 AM, PDT | TVLine.com | See recent TVLine.com news »

Arrow star Stephen Amell on Sunday afternoon was unable to oblige a typical fan event request — though for an understandable reason.

While headlining a solo panel Q&A at the Heroes & Villains FanFest in New Jersey, Amell told the crowd that he was unable to recite Oliver Queen’s famous opening voiceover narration “for a very specific reason. Because me doing the [new Season 6] intro is probably the biggest spoiler that I could possibly drop about the show.

“I would get in so much trouble,” he stressed.

What could Oliver possibly be saying in his voiceover, in the wake of surviving Prometheus »

Jane the Virgin Season 4 Trailer Teases Jane/Rafael Shower Scene — Watch

16 September 2017 12:30 PM, PDT | TVLine.com | See recent TVLine.com news »

Things get steamy between Jane and Rafael — or so we’re led to believe — in the just-released trailer for Jane the Virgin Season 4 (premiering Friday, Oct. 13 at 9/8c on The CW).

The first new footage finds Petra (who is uncharacteristically sporting a sweatshirt and unkempt hair!) asking Jane if she is “one hundred percent over Rafael.” In response, Jane says, “One hundred percent is a big number.” (Ooh!) What follows is even more intriguing: a sequence which appears to show Jane readying to join Rafael in the shower.

Noticeably missing from the trailer is Jane’s first love Adam (played »

(Sources tell TVLine that Joseph Sanders, the young actor who played Mateo last season, is busy with school.) Jane looks a little overwhelmed in the poster, with a grinning Mateo sitting on her shoulders and a tagline that reads: “Relationship status: It’s mom-plicated. »

Arrow: Meet Slade Wilson's Son, Joe

7 September 2017 5:21 PM, PDT | TVGuide - Breaking News | See recent TVGuide - Breaking News news »

The most exciting thing to happen to Arrow Season 6 is definitely the return of Slade Wilson (Manu Bennett), Oliver's (Stephen Amell) sometimes friend, sometimes nemesis. That line is super blurry at this point, honestly.

And now that he's not hopped up on Mirakuru madness anymore, he's naturally

The biggest storyline on the Arrow Season 6 agenda right now is, of course, explaining who lived and who died on Lian Yu after Oliver (Stephen Amell) saw the whole island go up in flames. Showrunner Marc Guggenheim has other irons in the Season 6 fire, however, and one of them is a Black Lives

Arrowverse Ep Discusses Freedom Fighters: The Ray

30 August 2017 11:22 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

The great thing about the Arrowverse is that with it being so expansive, it hasn’t limited itself to live action television and, in the past few years, it’s also spilled over into the comic book realm as well as animation. When it comes to the latter, much success was found with Vixen, which was first presented as a web series that spanned two seasons before being cut together as one seamless direct-to-video movie.

Having gotten a taste for exploring other characters and possibilities that the TV shows may not have the time or budget for, the producers have since decided to branch out with their next endeavor, that being Freedom Fighters: The Ray.

Basically, it follows the adventures of a group of heroes residing on a Earth-x, a parallel world where the Nazis won World War II. As such, it’s home to its own corrupted version of the Justice League. »

Arrow: Kirk Acevedo Cast As Richard Dragon in Season 6

16 August 2017 11:55 AM, PDT | LRMonline.com | See recent LRM Online news »

Arrow Season 5 was a return to form for the long-running DC superhero series on The CW. Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) finally embraced his role as leader, completing a five year transition from murderous vigilante to heroic superhero Green Arrow. A big reason for the show's resurgence last season was the re-establishment of a grounded, gritty, street-level storyline that pitted Queen against Prometheus (Josh Segarra), a fighter of comparable skill who was constantly one step ahead of Team Arrow.

By abandoning the failed magic and mysticism aspects of Seasons 3 and 4, Arrow focused on hard-hitting, often incredibly brutal hand-to-hand fighting last season, which is a hallmark of this show. Seriously, outside of Netflix's Daredevil, is there any better fight choreography on TV? So what can we expect out of Arrow Season 6? We already know that the big bad will be Richard Dragon, an absolutely vicious martial artist with deep roots in the DC comics canon. »

A few weeks ago at the Comic-Con panel for Arrow‘s upcoming sixth season, Marc Guggenheim teased the introduction of DC Comics and Green Arrow villain Richard Dragon. And, as per Deadline, it has now been revealed that Band of BrothersKirk Acevedo has been cast for a season-long recurring role as Dragon.

Acevedo will come to Star City as Ricardo Diaz, one of Richard Dragon’s many aliases. He is described as “a hardened ex-con recently released from prison for crimes he didn’t commit, Ricardo Diaz is bent on taking over Star City’s criminal underworld. A master in hand to hand combat, honed by years of life on the street, Diaz has yet to meet a foe he can’t take down.”

In the comics, Dragon was actually a hero and often ally of Green Arrow and many other heroes throughout the DC universe, training characters like »

The Huntress may return in Arrow season 6

10 August 2017 1:10 PM, PDT | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

Arrow season 6 may see the return of The Huntress.

Part of the fun of any superhero and comic book related content is wondering which characters might make an appearance and which favourites might return after a long time away.

This is no different for the CWs Arrow, and it seems like the character Huntress might just return for season 6, in what would be her first appearance since 2014.

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim, was asked about the possibility of seeing the character return by Cbr, and seemed interested in the idea.

“I want to say, ‘Absolutely.’ Jessica De Gouw [Huntress] has expressed an absolute willingness to come back. Jessica’s a favorite actor of mine, and the Huntress is a favorite character of mine. I want to make it happen in Season 6. We’ve got some plans for the later half of the year that I think she will fit into really well, »

Stephen Amell Picks His Favorite Season Of Arrow

9 August 2017 10:30 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Being the massive fan of Arrow that I am, even I’m willing to admit that the show hit a speed bump of sorts in its fourth season. Having said that, it was thrilling to see the cast and crew turn things around for the fifth year, serving up what had been one of their strongest offerings to date.

Still, there are probably those of you out there who could make a case for season 4 – or any of the others, for that matter. To date, each have had unique stories to tell when it comes to the journey Oliver Queen has thus far embarked on, be they in the present day or in flashbacks. Plus, it didn’t hurt that more than a few other heroes from DC’s pantheon were introduced along the way.

To my surprise, even lead actor Stephen Amell has his preference. Granted, it must be »
