Kendall Jenner Goes Goth For Coachella, Solange Overdoses On Vitamin C + The Worst-Dressed Celebrities Of The Week

The days are growing longer and the temperature is getting warmer, which can only mean one thing: festival season is upon us. It’s time to prepare for short shorts, flower crowns and ridiculous costumes music fans will try to justify wearing to outdoor concerts all summer long. The first weekend of Coachella gave celebrities a chance to connect with their inner Edm flower children, while the MTV Movie Awards posed the challenge of getting dressed up for a formal award ceremony, yet still looking “cool” and “hip” to the kids. Not as easy as it looks.

Kendall Jenner and her crew paraded a series of eye-catching outfits through Indio, most of which relied heavily on nose rings and ancient witchcraft. Former Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice went for a more adult look at the Movie Awards, but ended up looking like a tacky cocktail waitress. Or a human Peep. »

No one wants to be the worst-dressed celebrity on the MTV Movie Awards red carpet. But it’s not enough to look good. After all, this is the MTV Movie Awards so you’ve also got to look young, hip and cool. As a result, celebs take horrible fashion risks. Most of the time, they don’t pay off. We’re sad to say it, but Victoria Justice,  Pia Mia Perez and Johnny Knoxville gambled and lost. Here it is, folks: The worst-dressed celebrities at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards!

Look, we know Easter is next weekend, but is that really an excuse for so many of our favorite stars to come in gross outfits the color of a Paz Easter egg dyeing kit? The lovely Bella Thorne looked like she was happy to have escaped a frigid ice harem. I mean, where else would you wear a »

MTV's Victoria Justice cyber thriller, Eye Candy, has found a new showrunner. The news comes after the younger-skewing network announced the project would move forward with a new cast, save for Justice and co-star Harvey Guillen, and a new pilot. Candy, based on R.L. Stine's best-seller, centers on Lindy (Justice), a tech genius who, convinced by her roommate to begin online dating, starts to suspect that one of her mysterious suitors may be a

Catherine Hardwicke and Marti Noxon Get Series Orders

13 February 2014 8:00 AM, PST | Indiewire Television | See recent Indiewire Television news »

Cable just keeps getting better.  Catherine Hardwicke and Marti Noxon have announced separate TV projects, both rather intriguing.  Hardwicke, who's built her career on young-adult fare like Thirteen and Twilight, has teamed up with Jason Blum to executive produce MTV's Eye Candy. Like the show Catfish, Hardwicke's teen thriller will focus on the perils of the online world. Indiewire's Taylor Lindsay notes that "the series features former Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice (Fun Size) as a web-savvy but reclusive hacker hottie who exposes terrorist plots and suspected killers on her blog. After entering the online dating world, she ends up connecting with a culprit and teams up with law enforcement to catch the cyberstalker." Even more media-obsessed is Noxon and Sarah Gertrude Shapiro's new show on Lifetime, Un-Real. Based on Shapiro's short film "Sequin Raze," the dark comedy goes behind the scenes of a reality dating show...

The cool, versatile collection was inspired by NYC — and the result was a fun, edgy collection that was just as eclectic as the big city.

Dkny’s Fall 2014 collection debuted during New York Fashion Week on Feb. 10, where everyday individuals served as models, (and both Hannah Bronfman and Chelsea Leyland took a walk down the runway), showing off their individual sense of style — along with the collection, of course! Rita Ora and Victoria Justice were present, taking it all in from the front row as the untraditional models showed off their very own beauty looks, which included cropped ‘dos, blue braids, tattoos, and so much more. Not only did the show celebrate the versatile style found in NYC, but it paid homage to the melting pot that NY really is.

Justice is about to be served at MTV – Victoria Justice, that is! My horrible pun aside, MTV has officially picked up Victoria’s new series Eye Candy for 10 episodes, and although a premiere date hasn’t been set, we’re already making room for the former Victorious star’s cyber drama on our DVRs.

Stine that gave us Goosebumps back in the ’90s – Eye Candy follows a tech-head named Lindy (Victoria), who believes one of her potential online dating companions is actually a murderous cyber stalker. This, of course, leads Lindy and her hacker pals on a quest to stop a deadly serial killer.

MTV Orders Twilight Director’s Online Dating Thriller Eye Candy

11 February 2014 10:00 AM, PST | Vulture | See recent Vulture news »

Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke will turn the R.L. Stine novel Eye Candy into a ten-episode series for MTV. It will star Nickelodeon grad Victoria Justice (Zoey 101, Victorious) as a "tech genius" named Lindy who begins online dating only to end up with a deadly cyber stalker. If Hardwicke follows the book's lead, after Lindy discovers the truth about her e-match, she'll team up with a crew of like-minded tech friends to solve murders across New York City. In fact, Bowery Boogie spotted them taping on the Lower East Side back in November. The only question remaining is, what will they call their OkCupid knockoff? We recommend referring to Law & Order: Svu for inspiration. »

'Twilight' Director Catherine Hardwicke Makes the Film-to-Cable Move

Production designer-turned-director Catherine Hardwicke hit 'Twilight' out of the park, but was not given time by Summit Entertainment to continue with the series. They rushed the second one into production with Chris Weitz at the helm, by far the worst of the series. Hardwicke's follow-up "Red Riding Hood" was a misguided and undersupported effort, and now like many women helmers, Hardwicke has done the sane and rational thing--moved to television.  After directing various series including "Low Winter Sun" Hardwicke is partnering with Jason Blum to executive produce the series "Eye Candy," which MTV has picked up for ten episodes from the pilot she directed, adapted by Emmy Grinwis from the R.L.
