Introducing, Vicki Minaj! Victoria Justice seems to have been extra inspired by the MTV VMAs this year, and showed off her best impression of one of the night's biggest performers last night on Instagram. The brunette beauty shared a clip of herself dancing to Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" —complete with a pillow stuffed her butt. Justice called the character her "alter ego" and twerked in a pair of cloud print pajamas to the hit track. On Sunday, the rapper performed the song live in significantly less clothing (although more than what she donned for the official music video) and gave viewers an up close and personal look at some of her best assets. If the MTV Video Music Awards looked boring on TV, it was even worse watching the show in person. Sunday night’s ceremony was held at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif., a venue so monstrous not even Taylor Swift could fill all the seats. Unlike most concerts, there weren’t any TV screens in the venue that broadcast the performances live, which is why crowds kept looking restless when the camera cut to them. It was hard to see what was happening.
At every commercial break, a VMAs stage manager with a bullhorn would bark at the fans on the ground floor to move as the clunky sets weaved around them. There was a smattering of boos when Miley Cyrus tried to make a political statement by sending a homeless man onstage to accept her Moonman trophy for Video of the Year. When Beyonce finally delivered her showstopper finale, half »

Among the many fashion trends (leather! cutouts! backless!) on the red carpet at the MTV VMAs on Aug. 24 in Inglewood, Calif., one ruled them all. The crop top was seen on just about every celebrity including Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Lucy Hale and Victoria Justice. To honor the midriff-flaunting style that just won't quit, Us Weekly compiled the best versions of the crop top from the red carpet into one giant image. Among the most notable was the "Shake It Off" singer, who wore a white fringed crop [...] »
Welcome, friends, to HitFix's MTV Video Music Awards 2014 live-blog. Earlier today I was watching Fxx's Every Simpsons Ever Marathon and it was the "Homerpalooza" episode, which begins with Homer lamenting that he's no longer hip to the contemporary music scene. Marge tells him not to worry. "Record stores have always seemed crazy to me," she declares. "Music is none of my business." Well, music is none of my business. Artists who aren't "American Idol" veterans or who haven't appeared on "American Idol" are none of my business. Actually, I take that back. I also know people who were on "X Factor," which is why I know who Fifth Harmony and Demi Lovato are. But with HitFix's actual qualified music staffers doing breakout stories and reviews of performances, I get to do a live-blog even though I know who none of these people are. Follow along and make fun of my musical ignorance. »

When two best friends find themselves fed up with their high school’s resident bullies, they do what anyone would do: stage a revolution.
Victoria Justice and The Middle’s Eden Sher play two outcasts in The Outskirts, a film about what happens when a high school’s uncool kids overthrow the popular crew, led by the Blair Waldorf-like Whitney (Claudia Lee). There’s drama, there’s humor. And, as with any good teen movie, there are tears.
