Shoreline boards time-travel romance

Exclusive: Thomas Hennessy to direct Another Time.

Morris Ruskin’s Los Angeles-based Shoreline Entertainment has boarded worldwide rights heading into Cannes on time-travel romance Another Time.

The story centres on a man who falls for a woman who is already engaged. With the help of a disgraced scientist he travels on a journey back in time before she meets her fiancé.

Justin Hartley, one of the stars on NBC show This Is Us who will star in Bad Moms Christimas, stars with Arielle Kebbel, Chrishell Stause and James Kyson.

Thomas Hennessy directs from a screenplay he co-wrote with Scott Kennard.

“We are excited to represent this film and are eager to share it with audiences all over the world,” Ruskin said.

Shoreline’s Melody Djavadi negotiated the deal with producer Alan Pietruszewski.

The company will also be tempting buyers in the Croisette with worldwide rights to crime drama The White Orchid.

Official CineMayhem One-Sheet Arrives by the Roadside

The CineMayhem Film Fest is right around the corner, and to usher in its arrival, we have the official specially created for the event one-sheet for Eric England's Roadside, which is screening during the fest. Check it out!

The film, starring Ace Marrero, Katie Stegeman, Alan Pietruszewski, Lionel D. Carson and Jack Curenton, will be having its world premiere at CineMayhem Film Festival on March 2nd at 6:30Pm at Muvico Theaters Thousand Oaks 14 (166 West Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks, CA).

Before the screening those in attendance will see an exclusive extended sneak peek of the making-of featurette that will eventually be available when the film is released!

Exclusive: Roadside Trailer
We are pleased to exclusively debut the first trailer for Roadside, the second feature from writer-director Eric England (Madison County). Ace Marrero and Katie Stegeman star in this thriller as Dan and Mindy, a married couple who find themselves trapped on a mountain road and terrorized by a sharpshooter. The film does not have a distributor as of yet, but we'll keep you posted as soon as we have any details regarding Roadside's release. You can also take a look at the first poster and five photos that debuted in May.

Two More Short Films for Halloween Night Viewing: The Trick or Treater / Meet the Tweeds

As Halloween draws to a close for one more year, we here at Dread Central have two more seasonal short films to share with you: Eric England's The Trick or Treater and Erin Stegeman's Meet the Tweeds, both of which are co-produced by Ace Marrero along with each respective director.

Ace co-stars in The Trick or Treater with Katie Stegeman (he also appears in England's Madison County, which just premiered at the recently concluded Screamfest La film festival). Bradley Scott Sullivan edited and did the short's titles and sound work.

The Trick or Treater features Marrero as a man who gets tricked when he doesn't deliver his treats.

Ace explained to us that the original plan was to produce three shorts for Halloween to help celebrate one of his favorite times of the year, but Screamfest demanded so much attention they could only make the two.
