It’s been announced that Edward Furlong and Corey Feldman to star alongside each other in British horror film The Zombie King. Furlong will be taking on the role of Samuel Peters (The Zombie King) and Feldman will be taking the role of Kalfu the God of Malevolence. These characters have an interesting twist to a zombie film. A film with a blend of comedy, action, nails biting tension, which will appeal to horror fans and zombie lovers alike….

Samuel Peters (Furlong) once an ordinary man, dabbles within the laws of voodoo to bring his wife back from the grave, he soon encounters the God of malevolence ‘Kalfu’ (Feldman), where he makes a pact with him to destroy the underworld and bring chaos to earth; in return he will become ‘The Zombie King’ and walk the earth for eternity with his belated wife. The Possession of David O'Reilly: Review

Review by Michael Pickle

The Possession of David O'Reilly is last year's supernatural UK import from directors Andrew Cull and Steve Isles. It's not likely to please every horror fan out there, but it's the kind of horror film that I personally enjoy discovering. A film that's very low budget, but not afraid to take chances. It's not perfect, but it's scary.

With solid acting, a few bare bones, but effective camera tricks, and some special effects make-up; this supernatural thriller is not afraid to be subtle. Nor is it afraid to be straight-forward. It seems to drag in a couple parts, but that even worked well for me and made the scary scenes that much scarier. In a constant state of unease you never know if the next scare is going to creep up on you or jump in your face. Kind of like feeling the hairs stand up »

[DVD Review] The Possession of David O'Reilly

10 January 2011 3:06 PM, PST | | See recent JustPressPlay news »

The Possession of David O’Reilly is a new horror film in the same strain as Paranormal Activity, Blair Witch Project, and even Cloverfield. This is a film trend that has divided horror fans, so if you hate hand-held cameras, obscured points of view, and monsters that are imagined more in your head than on-screen, you probably won’t like The Possession of David O’Reilly. If you like horror films that mess with your mind and leave you with questions as the credits are rolling, then The Possession of David O’Reilly is worth a rental.

The film opens with Alex (Nicholas Shaw) and Kate (Zoe Richards) enjoying a quiet night in when Alex’s longtime friend David (Giles Anderson) drops by unexpectedly. David has just left his live-in girlfriend Sarah after finding pictures of her in bed with another man. Alex and Kate invite him to stay for as long as he likes, »
