Gallowwalkers Return from the Dead Again and Again: A Movie Review

Director: Andrew Goth. Writers: Andrew Goth and Joanne Reay. Cast: Wesley Snipes, Kevin Howarth, Riley Smith, Tanit Phoenix, Simona Brhlikova and Steven Elder. Gallowwalkers is a film, which began production in 2006, in Namibia. This title experienced some stumbling blocks when the principal actor, Wesley Snipes, was arrested for tax evasion. This project was put on hold, until his release. And now, Gallowwalkers will soon be available to western and horror films fans. The film itself is a little convoluted and some of the editing techniques are a little choppy. However, Gallowwalkers offers an interesting take on a familiar genre, the western. Initially, the film's story is all over the place. Snipes plays Aman, a man seeking revenge. Aman is also cursed by the Devil? And, anyone that he kills will come back to life. So, his revenge does not go smoothly and his sidekick is more trouble than help. Aman

Wesley Snipes Returns to Kill the Undead in Gallowwalkers Trailer

"Do you remember me?"

Tax time is almost upon us and no one is more aware of that than actor Wesley Snipes. Sentenced in November of 2010 to three years in prison for willfully failing to file federal taxes, the Blade actor will be a free man this July, perhaps in time to see his latest release, Gallowwalkers. The Western sees Snipes do what he does best — dispatching hordes of the undead — as he plays cursed gunman Aman, who is hunted by a gang of his undead former victims.

If you're wondering how Snipes was able to appear in the movie while still being held in jail, he wasn't. Shot back in 2007, Gallowwalkers has been sitting on a shelf since at least 2008, until Vmi Worldwide picked up the rights and sold the U.S. distribution rights to Wreckin Hill Entertainment. "Wesley is officially back in the Us, and soon the rest

Death Race 3: Inferno Blu-ray Review

Don't worry, if you haven't seen any Death Race movies yet, you won't have trouble following Death Race 3: Inferno.  But if you haven't seen the one that started it all, Roger Corman's Death Race 2000, then you're doing something wrong with your life.  Anyways, Death Race 2 director Roel Reiné and writer Tony Giglio are back for part three, as well as actors Luke Goss, Danny Trejo, Ving Rhames, and Tanit Phoenix.  Find out how Universal's Blu-ray measures up after the jump. The 2008 Death Race is a prequel to the 1975 original, with Jason Statham taking on the role of pre-David Carradine Frankenstein.  2010's Death Race 2 is a prequel to the Statham one, showing how the masked-persona of Frankenstein is created.  In that one Luke Goss plays Lucas, a driver for the mob who's sent to Terminal Island.  He competes in the Death Race, does well, then

Get Set to Ignite with Death Race: Inferno: A Movie Review

Director: Roel Reine. Writers: Tony Giglio, Paul W.S. Anderson, Tony Giglio and Paul W.S. Anderson. Cast: Luke Goss, Ving Rhames, Danny Trejo, Dougray Scott, Fred Koehler, and Tanit Phoenix. The Death Race series of films are turning into a bit of a franchise. The original, starring David Carridine, came out way back in 1975. Then, Paul W. S. Anderson remade the original in 2008. The remake starred a very angry Jason Statham. Since 2008, the lead role of stunt driver Frankenstein has been played by the soft-spoken Luke Goss. Director Roel Reine has made the latest two sequels: Death Race 2 (2010) and the film reviewed here, Death Race: Inferno (2013). Reine's latest is his best to date. Reine is perfecting the action film with his frenetic directing style. Meanwhile, this second sequel blends genres. The action genre is prominent, but there are elements of romance and the thriller genre here, as well. Overall, Death Race: Inferno

Death Race 3: Inferno Review

I’ll be honest, I completely forgot Roel Reiné was going ahead with another Death Race after already presenting a horrid sequel (Death Race 2) to an averagely enjoyable B-Movie (Death Race), but low and behold here I am writing my review of Death Race 3: Boobs – um, I mean, Death Race 3: Inferno. Seriously though, I thought the above picture was appropriate because half the bloody movie was spent with a camera focused on Tanit Phoenix’s cleavage, only to pull away when a car blew up or someone died. Exploitation is one thing, but I mean c’mon, even I can admit the sexuality was laughably overplayed – and I’m a dude.

Here’s the thing though – Death Race 2 was an unnecessary and slobbish sequel to a B-Movie only hardcore genre junkies enjoyed, literally building up to the final conflict only to abruptly end the film and

Way back in 2008, before his incarceration for tax evasion, action star Wesley Snipes was busy filming the no-doubt direct-to-video Gallowwalkers, only for his subsequent spell in the slammer to leave the partially-completed film stuck in limbo. However, with Snipes now due for release soon, the Blade star is gearing up for a comeback attempt and will be finishing up his work on the supernatural western, and Vmi Entertainment has released a first poster which is to be used to shop the feature to international buyers at the Berlin European Film Market 2013. Check it out here:

"A mysterious gunman, Aman (Snipes), is the son of a nun who breaks her covenant with God to ensure his survival. This act brings a curse upon Aman - all those that die by his gun will return. Soon, he is hunted by a gang of his undead former victims, led by the vicious Kansa

Gallowwalkers Poster Featuring Wesley Snipes

Gallowwalkers Poster Featuring Wesley Snipes
Wesley Snipes is gearing up for a small resurgence, with a lead role in Gallowwalkers, followed by an appearance in The Expendables 3. This action icon of the early Nineties is overdue for a comeback, and is only now reemerging from his taxes woes, which leveled him at the knees. Having paid his dues to society in real-life, the rejuvenated actor is taking on the lead in Gallowwalkers, in which he stars as a lone gunman who must deal with the ghosts of his victims.

Born of a nun who sacrificed herself to save Aman as an infant, the young boy is cursed by God to be haunted by all those taken by his hand. When he seeks revenge on a ruthless gang responsible for the murder of his one true love, he must then battle these reprobates who return to Earth more powerful than ever, forming an army of undead warriors that are mercilessly unstoppable.
