- Born in Lakewood, California, Summer Helene moved to Australia when she was just six weeks old. Her father was a sailor in the Royal Australian Navy, and her mother was a professional dancer. Summer's mother placed her in dance classes as a child and thus her love for the performing arts began. While attending a private girls high school (Brigidine College), Summer also began attended classes at the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) at Sydney University. While in school she worked with, and attended closed lectures by, the top entertainers in Australia. Summer came to the United States in 1998 joining the entertainment industry as a Model (Victoria Secret) quickly making the transition into film, as an actress and later as a producer.
Since moving to the United States Summer has worked with Mountain Pictures, Moon River Cinema and Paramount Pictures (to name a few). As well as working with award winning Directors Owen Land, Michael Burton and Composer Vasily Shumov.
Working with Emmy Award winning writer Dev Ross, Summer spearheaded a new television format with 'The Rocks' a groundbreaking Television Series supported by the city of Sedona.
