According to a new report from the folks over at TV Line, the crew of ABC's fantasy/drama series "Once Upon A Time" has hired actress Meegan Warner (above) to come on and portray the princess character Rapunzel in the upcoming 7th season. Rapunzel was first seen in the show's third season. At the time,she was played by actress Alexandra Metz. TV Line gave a brief description of what Rapunzel will be up to in the new season. At the D23 Expo in Anaheim on Saturday, exec producer Eddy Kitsis revealed that new cast member Dania Ramirez will be playing a new version of the iconic Disney heroine in the ABC drama’s forthcoming seventh season. Funding Completed for Ross McCall Crime Thriller ‘Beautiful Ones’
Scatena & Rosner Films has provided finishing funds on Ross McCall’s crime thriller “The Beautiful Ones” for final color and effects, Variety has learned exclusively.

S&R has secured all sales rights as a condition of the deal. Director and veteran stunt coordinator Jesse V. Johnson collaborated with McCall to tell the story of a shylock falling in love with the wrong woman amidst the atmosphere of organized crime in Los Angeles.

The film also stars Brian Tee (“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows”), Jessy Schram (“Nashville”), Fernanda Andrade (“The Devil Inside”), and Eric Roberts.

Johnson is the producer with Anthony Pugliese executive producing. McCall starred in the HBO miniseries “Band of Brothers” and the USA series “White Collar.”

The deal was negotiated at San Diego Comic-Con by Gato Scatena and Johnson.

Akdeniz and Fehr make their debut in the Season 6 opener (airing Sunday, Sept. 25), while TVLine hears that David will first be seen in Episode 4.
