Nick Thomson is a writer and freelance filmmaker who graduated from the School of Film & Television Studies at the University of East Anglia. He works mostly in documentaries and shorts, best known for the short film "For Want Of A Nail" (which was inspired by his own experiences with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), as well as his work with Ethics Online, and films such as "The Racket" (which received several nominations). His work has screened around the world at festivals and on television, gathering a host of nominations and wins.
His screenwriting has seen him place on the Screenwriting Goldmine Awards and the Shore Script Competition, as well as team-up with Oakhill Productions on "For Want Of A Nail", which he wrote the screenplay for (in addition to acting as Script Supervisor on the set). He is also the author of the novella "Dug Deep", the 'Celebrityville' stories, and the up-coming novel "Murder at the Grindhouse". In his spare time he is a film reviewer, blogger, and genre movie obsessive.
