Dado Valentic entered the world of digital color correction 1996 as an engineer, working for Apple Computers. Later he moved on to work for engineering department of Sony BPE. He spent four years as the head of edit hire facility and was responsible for one of the first HD finishing systems in the UK. Since 2004 Dado has been working as chief colorist at Mytherapy, an LA-style boutique for digital cinema in London. While at Mytherapy, Dado has been responsible for finishing and delivery of a string of independent feature films as well as TV programmes for Discovery HD. He is also one of the leading developers in the area of RAW camera color correction and D-Cinema mastering. Dado's specialty is the work with cameras like RED, Phantom HD and Arri D21 which has brought him commissions for commercials and promos shot digitally for clients like Kylie Minougue, Kenwood, Nestle, Orange and promos for Sky and Channel 4.
