The Discovery Channel's new Deadliest Job Interview TV series premieres Friday, January 29, 2016, at 10:00pm Et/Pt. Discovery says the six episode first season of Deadliest Job Interview features, "eight of the world’s most dangerous jobs as rookies attempt to prove they have what it takes to earn a permanent spot on the crew."

Deadliest Job Interview is produced for Discovery Channel by Sharp Entertainment. Matt Sharp, Dan Adler, Johnny Petillo serve as Executive Producers, and Jason Cavanagh is Co-Executive Producer for Sharp. Joseph Schneier and Mitchell Rosenbaum serve as Executive Producers, and Brian Peterson is Coordinating Producer, for Discovery Channel.

John Legend’s A Cappella Competition ‘Sing It On’ Renewed for Season 2 at Pop

Pop has renewed a cappella competition series “Sing It On” for a second season with an eight-episode order. Pop announced the pickup on Monday.

Hailing from exec producer John Legend, “Sing It On” follows teams as they compete to win the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella. Season 2 will feature five new teams.

“Competing in collegiate a cappella provided building blocks for my career as a performer and started the foundation of life-long friendships. ‘Sing It On’ captures all of the emotion and excitement of the Icca competition, in addition to covering the personal stories and friendships that make a cappella a true community,” said Legend, who is former member of UPenn’s a cappella group Counterparts, which made it to the Icca finals in 1997.
