Television and feature film casting director Michael McCaskey was drawn to the arts at an early age. He began studying music and dance at age nine, continuing as a dance major at Pittsburgh's High School of the Performing Arts. A full dance career followed. McCaskey appeared in countless music videos and commercials, on stage with The Rockettes at the Radio Center Music Hall, and on tour with legends Gladys Night and Whitney Houston. He then went on to represent young dancers and founded the dance division at Daniel Hoff agency in Los Angeles. After casting the hit series "Star Search," on which he had once appeared himself, McCaskey turned his attention to feature and scripted television casting. Recent credits include the series "Joey," "Help Me Help You," and "The Game," and feature films The Guardian and Portland.
