An avid and accomplished vocalist, Troy Martin was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1960. In 1970, he moved to New Jersey where he studied theater and music. In 1978, he landed a walk-on part as a passenger in "How To Pick Up Girls" at Newark Airport while he was waiting for a plane that would relocate him to Hollywood later that evening. After his arrival in Hollywood, he worked with several theater groups and played in rock 'n' roll bands. The first director he worked for was Rick Sloane. He was later cast by Arthur Hiller as a convict in "Taking Care Of Business", and since then he has appeared in numerous motion pictures, TV shows, and music videos.
