Damon Law has been composing music professionally since 1994. He has provided music and sound design for film, theater, advertising, museums, websites, and video games.
In 2002, Damon started composing for Nicu's Spoon Theater Company in NYC, scoring, recording, producing, and engineering music for multiple stage productions including: To Kill a Mockingbird, The Little Prince, George Orwell's 1984, Murder of Crows, Elizabeth Rex, How The Day Runs Down, and Richard III.
He has spent over 30 years in music production, and has worked with, and composed for, multiple performance music groups over the years including Written In Ashes (2001-2006), VVV (early '90s), and SWS (Late '90s). His earliest professional work was as Sound Designer for Storefront Theatre Company's 1989 production "Cuchulain Cycle''(a five-play marathon of heroic-verse dramas).
Damon Law self-publishes his music as "theStark" and has a catalog of over 10 hours of continuous music across multiple albums: RE (2021), monolith (2020), pixel (2015), //// "Four" (2013), Music For Theatre (2012, Re-released with additional music in 2018), QUADRATIC (2011), what might have been (2001), theStark "Self-titled" (2000), Athenaeum (1994).
Damon lives in Portland, Oregon with his family, multiple dogs, and at the whim of a couple of cats.
