Watch: New Trailer for ‘Hunger Games’ Actress Leven Rambin’s New Film ‘Tatterdemalion’

True Detective” actress Leven Rambin’s new film “Tatterdemalion,” a Ptsd thriller, has released its first trailer.

The pic follows Rambin’s character, an army veteran suffering from Ptsd who returns home to the Ozarks to look for her brother, who she was separated from as a child.

Tatterdemalion” is directed and co-written by Ramaa Mosley. The film co-stars Jim Parrack, Taylor John Smith, and Landon Edwards.

The movie is produced by Cameron Gray, Sarah E. Johnson, Tim Macy, and Gina Resnick. David Beal is exec producing.

The film is screening at the Heartland Film Festival in Indianapolis on Oct. 14 and 15.

Rambin broke out as Glimmer in “The Hunger Games” and was most recently seen in the TV shows “The Path” and “Gone.” She is repped by Paradigm, Management 360, and Sloane, Offer, Weber and Dern.

Jared Leto plays down his on-set “method” antics on Suicide Squad

Jared Leto is well known for the extreme lengths he goes to in order to get into character, but his alleged antics during the shooting of Warner Bros.’ DC blockbuster Suicide Squad certainly raised a few eyebrows.

According to reports, Leto sent a number of bizarre “Joker-inspired” gifts to his cast mates, including live rats, a dead pig, bullets, “sticky” Playboy magazines, anal beads and even used condoms. However, it seems some of the more outlandish reports may have been wide of the mark, as Leto has downplayed the situation during an interview with Entertainment Weekly to promote his new film Blade Runner 2049.

“Most of it was total bullshit,” said Leto. “Like that I was giving used condoms to people, which was not true. It doesn’t matter how loud you shout or hold up a sign with your pants off in Times Square — people will run the story that they want. »

Seattle festival to honour Anjelica Huston

June 7 event features on-stage interview, screening of new film, Trouble.

The Seattle International Film Festival (Siff) will honour Anjelica Huston with the Career Achievement In Acting Award at this year’s 43rd edition.

The event will take place on June 7 at the Siff Cinema Egyptian and begin with an on-stage interview with Huston, followed by be the world premiere of her new film Trouble.

Huston reunites with director Theresa Rebeck after they collaborated on the 2012 NBC series Smash.

Trouble also stars Bill Pullman and tells of a feuding brother and sister whose differences entangle the fate of an old friend, played by David Morse. Julia Stiles, Jim Parrack, Brian d’Arcy James, and Victor Williams also star.

Huston serves as executive producer and Rebeck, Rachel Dengiz, Julie Buck, and Jaclyn Bashoff are producers. Wme Global represents North American rights while Gpm handles international rights.

Cinedigm Corp. has acquired all North American rights to The Heyday Of The Insensitive Bastards and Don Quixote: The Ingenious Gentleman Of La Mancha, produced by James Franco, Jennifer Howell and Vince Jolivette’s Elysium Bandini Studios.

The Heyday Of The Insensitive Bastards was produced in conjunction with UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television and stars Franco, Tyler Labine, Kate Mara, Jim Parrack, Natalie Portman, Rico Rodriguez, Abigail Spencer, Amber Tamblyn, Thomas Mann and Kristen Wiig.

David Ayer addresses Suicide Squad criticism, and what he’d change in hindsight

Much like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice before it, Warner Bros.Suicide Squad may have proven to be a hit at the box office, but it divided audiences, and receiving a rather vicious mauling from the majority of critics.

Taking to Twitter, director David Ayer has shared some rather honest reflections on the film, discussing his reaction to the critical backlash, as well as revealing what he would have done differently, given the benefit of hindsight.
