Born at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Hollywood, Danny Jesus Rivera Del Toro was destined to become an actor from the beginning. His mother's obstetrician was Hollywood actress Ann Blyth's husband, Dr. James McNulty. Whenever Danny's mother, Barbara, talked movies with Dr. McNulty several kicks and jumps would fill the womb with excited movement! Danny's family was renting an apartment in Los Angeles and soon after Danny turned two they moved to Glendale where he has resided ever since. While attending junior college in 1988, he decided to study acting. Danny's very first acting teacher, Ken Gray, encouraged him to perform in live Theater and after performing in his first play, Danny fell in love with the arts. Today, Danny has been seen in numerous television commercials like Taco Bell, Bud Light, and as the expectant father in Blue Cross' National campaign for "Baby Names", uttering names like Lancelot, Cornelius, Thor and Shlomo Del Toro.

Danny studied music in Argentina and has performed in both plays and musicals around parts of the U.S. and South America. He is very passionate about making feature films and doing live Theater. He is currently filming a feature called Be My Baby and is preparing to film Geezas later in the year.

When he was 13, he used to earn money by Break Dancing and Pop Locking on street corners in Hollywood.
Auditioned for his first Theatrical film, "Los Chantas" at the age of 6.
Donates some of his time producing charity events for the Single Moms Foundation owned by Christina Fulton, Weston Coppola Cage and Nicolas Cage.
His grandfather was professional boxing champion George Rivera.
Performs as a Latin Elvis impersonator.
In June of 2012 Danny was invited to attend a Los Angeles Dodger baseball game in one of his Elvis jumpsuits. Danny accepted the invitation but instead secretly decided to have a custom Elvis jumpsuit made in the fashion of The Los Angeles Dodger's Royal Blue. Since June 30th of 2012 Danny has become an instant hit with fans and is regularly being featured on Television and the Jumbo Tron at Dodger Stadium.
