David Kajganich was born on November 15, 1969 in Lorain, Ohio, USA as David Allen Kajganich. He is a writer and producer, known for A Bigger Splash (2015), The Terror (2017) and True Story (2015).

As his own script made a point of clarifying that snatched characters no longer need things like medications and eyeglasses, he was required to remove his own glasses for the many takes, and could only find Kidman in the crowded action scene due to her hairstyle and height.
