‘General Hospital’ Star Tyler Christopher Joins Dark Comedy ‘Pretty Broken’
General Hospital” star Tyler Christopher has come on board as the male lead opposite Jillian Clare in the dark comedy “Pretty Broken.”

Christopher will portray a former cable access TV show star who’s now a self-proclaimed role model for his used car sales team. Preston Bailey, Peter Holden, and Adam Chambers also star.

The film is directed by Brett Eichenberger from a script by Jill Remensynder. Producers are Leonian Pictures and Resonance Productions.

Clare portrays an unemployed, college drop-out on the verge of divorce who finds herself couch surfing at her childhood home while her family grieves the death of her father. She fights to keep his memory alive before her mother replaces him with a younger man, portrayed by Christopher.

The production has been on a six-week hiatus. “Pretty Broken” goes back into production on Sept. 8 in Portland, Ore. The project was formerly called “Free for All.”

A prequel to director Jeff Broadstreet’s 2006 3D “remake” of Night of the Living Dead, Night of the Living Dead 3D: Re-Animation (that’s one hell of a long title) follows mortician Gerald Tovar, Jr. (Divoff) who inherits the family mortuary and exposes hundreds of uncremated bodies to toxic medical waste – at first accidentally and then later on purpose. As the corpses re-animate, Gerald’s inheritance-seeking younger brother, Harold (Jeffrey Combs), unexpectedly shows up and stumbles upon Gerald trying to keep the zombie outbreak under control. Sibling rivalry gives way to madness as Harold discovers Gerald’s dark secret – the freshly exhumed and zombified corpse of their father.

Jillian Clare stops by 'The Kitchen' en route to more Miss Behave

Spending your nineteenth birthday working may not sound too fun . unless of course it's the first day of rehearsal on a new feature film.  That's exactly what happened to Jillian Clare (star and executive producer of the teen series Miss Behave and Haley Ferguson from the Emmy nominated Nickelodeon movie Freak the Freak Out) who has joined the ensemble feature film, The Kitchen, as their youngest cast member.    A comedy about a girl.s ill-fated 30th birthday party, Jillian Clare will be portraying Nikki . a friendly and flirtatious ditz who has an inner logic that somehow makes sense.  Clare stops by The Kitchen with on-screen boyfriend Adam Chambers (.Night of  the Living Dead 3D: Re-Animation.) joining stars Laura Prepon (.Lay the Favorite,. NBC series .Are You There Vodka, It.s Me Chelsea.) and Bryan Greenberg (HBO series .How to Make it in America.) in the film entirely set in a Silver Lake kitchen.

Zombie babies and a Sarah Palin jokes abound in this first sales trailer for Night of the Living Dead 3D: Re-animation. The film is directed by Jeff Broadsheet from a script from Broadsheet and Robert Valding.

Synopsis:

Indie Thriller Alert: Andrew Divoff Stars in this First Trailer for Night of the Living Dead 3D: Re-Animation

Chainsaws, zombie babies and a Sarah Palin look-alike, what else could you ask from a film trailer? There is a lot more to sink your teeth in to, as Night of the Living Dead 3D: Re-Animation debuts its first teaser trailer. The clip shows some of the early make-up from the film and some of the satire. Andrew Divoff (The Dead Matter) and Jeffery Combs (The Dunwich Horror) star, with the clip available below.

Take180 Launches Three New Interactive Series, ‘Vampires,’ ‘Date’ and ‘Spoofaloo’

Disney-owned T180 Studios has officially launched their new website, Take180.com and debuted three new original web series to their lineup, all of which are based around getting their audience involved. First up in the new crop is Electric Spoofaloo (above) is a collaboration between the users and the Take180 creative team to produce the finest in pop culture parody (most recently: "Two and A Half Watchmen", a spoof of Watchmen and the TV show Two And A Half Men, and "Ugly Yeti", an Ugly Betty parody) every week (episodes alternate between the selection show and the actual parody). Take180’s ‘My Alibi’ Lands ABCFamily.com Deal

ABC Family has picked up Take180's My Alibi for distribution on ABCFamily.com, marking the first major content deal coming out of the community driven web series site. My Alibi, which premiered this fall, centers around five high school seniors at fictional Wheeler High School—Cy, Marley, Jonah, Scarlet and Rebecca—who all try to prove they are innocent after an elaborate prank is pulled on campus. The talent tie-ins from the series to ABC's other shows are pretty notable, like star Zachary Abel who also stars in the upcoming ABC Family hour-long drama Perfect 10 and a few upcoming episodes of its hit series The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
