Over the weekend a couple of new leaked clips from Danielle Harris' ('ChromeSkull: Laid to Rest 2') 'Among Friends' have been spotted online. The two, very brief clips, feature some agitated dilalogue from actress Jennifer Blanc Biehn ('Bad Ass') but sadly little else so they are by no means spoilerish. 'Among Friends' stars Aj Bowen ('The House of the Devil'), Christopher Backus, Chris Meyer, Jennifer Blanc Biehn, Brianne Davis, Dana Daurey, Kamala Jones, Tanya Newbould, Kane Hodder and writer Alyssa Lobit who provided the script. Harris tries her hand at helming for this her first solo directorial project. »

If you haven’t heard about Among Friends yet, then you should definitely put it on your radar. The movie marks the directorial debut of genre favorite actress Danielle Harris, whom of course we all know (and love) in the Halloween films, Urban Legend, Hatchet II and so on and so forth. Alyssa Lobit penned the screenplay and also stars along with Aj Bowen, Christopher Backus, Jennifer Blanc, Brianne Davis, Kamala Jones, Chris Meyer, Dana Daurey and Kane Hodder. The flick recently wrapped post-production and premiered in Los Angeles last month. Except an announcement shortly for a fall release. In the meantime, check out the teaser trailer below, along with some behind-the-scenes footage.

Around a week or so ago Among Friends, the new flick from horror icon Danielle Harris, had a very swanky premiere in Los Angeles which was sponsored by Knockout Energy Drink, FEARnet and the Viscera Film Festival, and now you can spend some time checking out the sights!

Dread Central hit the red carpet of the private cast and crew screening of Danielle Harris’ horror feature Among Friends last night, April 17th, and brought back a slew of photos as well as a chat with Harris herself. Read on for the goods!

The sexy Danielle Harris is one talented young lady. Not only can she light up our screens as one of our favourite hot scream queens in the likes of such genre credits as 'Hatchet II', 'ChromeSkull: Laid to Rest 2' and Rob Zombie's 'Halloween' but now she's even getting behind the camera and showing us our skills on her feature debut 'Among Friends'. The 'Halloween' horror hottie Danielle Harris' solo directorial debut 'Among Friends' has recently been entertaining audiences at the Efm in Berlin. We haven't yet had a chance to check it out but hard core rockers will be excited to know that the new horror/comedy helmed by Harris and based on writer and star Alyssa Lobit's script does include music from rock band 8stops7. The band, who released their fourth album 'Fables' earlier this month, will be providing rocking tunes to the movies soundtrack in which guitarist Rodney Amieva describes as wanting to write something that's like a kick in the teeth. Christopher Backus, Jennifer Blanc, Aj Bowen, Dana Daurey, Brianne Davis, Kane Hodder, Kamala Jones, Chris Meyer and Danielle all star in the feature. Chiller Films have scored the worldwide rights to Danielle Harris' ('Rob Zombie's Halloween') solo directorial debut 'Among Friends'. The comedy horror from our gorgeous Danielle (below) will hit the European Film Market later this month. Chiller Films is the horror label for the London and Spain based Aspect Film Ltd who were also responsible for distributing Frank Sabatella's 'Blood Night: The Legend of Mary Hatchet' which also starred Danielle Harris alongside genre-fave Bill Moseley. The Efm, hosted in Berlin, will run from 9-17th of February. Christopher Backus, Jennifer Blanc, Aj Bowen, Dana Daurey, Brianne Davis, Kane Hodder, Kamala Jones, Chris Meyer, co-writer Alyssa Lobit and Miss Harris herself all star in 'Among Friends' which we hope will get a release date very soon!
