truTV has announced its renewed, new, and developing series. Returning to truTV are The Carbonaro Effect, with magician Michael Carbonaro; and how-to series, Hack My Life, hosted by Kevin Pereira and Brooke Van Poppelen.
The new primetime series are: Almost Genius, hosted by April Richardson and Chris Fairbanks; 10 Things, hosted by Girl Code’s Jamie Lee; and the new documentary series, truOriginals: Inside Iconic Comedy, executive produced by Banks Tarver, Ken Druckerman, and Anneka Jones.

TruTV has greenlit three new shows including one docuseries, plus has ordered two pilots. The cable network has also renewed “The Carbonaro Effect” for 13 additional episodes and “Hack My Life” for 10 more episodes.
The slew of programming is a sign of upward momentum for truTV, which is coming on the heels of its one-year anniversary of network rebranding to be “Way More Fun.”
“We’ve come a long way over the past year when it comes to establishing the new truTV brand, and we’re experiencing real momentum,” said Chris Linn, president and head of programming for truTV. “These programing moves represent our continued investment in innovative, talent-driven shows that can engage our viewers across every platform.”
