Tila Tequila Doing Well After Rehab: Reportedly Recovering From Eating Disorder & Drug Addiction

When reality star Tila Tequila headed off for a monthlong stay at a Florida rehab center, she wasn't just dealing with drug addiction but an equally deadly eating disorder that left her frail and rail-thin, reports RadarOnline.
Earlier this year, the 30-year-old was hospitalized following a reported brain aneurysm and drug overdose that nearly killed her.
Sources say the overdose wasn't accidental. According to TMZ, Tila's roommate told police that Tila had "tried to kill herself all week." Following her hospitalization, the former MTV reality star agreed to enter rehab for substance abuse and treatment for other psychological issues -- which we now know to be an eating disorder.

After interviewing everyone from Tila Tequila to Bruce Willis in his Funny or Die web series “Between Two Ferns,” Zach Galifianakis is taking the show to the next level.
“Ferns” producer Scott Aukerman confirmed on today’s Comedy Bang Bang podcast that he directed a 30-minute episode set to air May 6 on Comedy Central before this year’s Comedy Awards. Wellington, Apr 10: Tila Tequila has admitted that she really believed she was "going to die" when she suffered from a brain aneurysm last month.
The 30-year-old had an accidental overdose, which resulted in the 'death-like' condition.
After she left the hospital, Tequila checked into a rehab facility in Florida to seek help for her issues but recalled the terrifying night.

Reality TV star and internet pin-up Tila Tequila has opened up about the medical emergency that put her in rehab earlier this year, revealing she thought she was dying after suffering a brain aneurysm.
The 30 year old accidentally overdosed and suffered the aneurysm last month and immediately checked into a treatment centre in Florida.
She tells Us Weekly magazine, "I can remember feeling like the bones were popping out the side of my head, the pain was so bad. I took some medications and tried to go for a nap, but when I woke up I was vomiting."
Tequila's roommate found the star almost unconsciousness and dialled emergency services.
After the scare and the rehab, Tequila insists she feels like a new woman: "I feel like I have been reborn. I should have died and feel blessed to have another chance at life and I intend to grasp it. I got excellent treatment and I did a total detox of all substances and medications. This was really tough but I managed to do it."
She now hopes to help other celebrities who find themselves in similar situations.
Tequila adds, "I love talking to people and hopefully I can help them if they have problems. This whole experience has made me think about going back to school and taking psychiatry classes as I feel like I could really help people who have issues." »

Reality TV star Tila Tequila has left rehab after completing a month of counselling.
The internet pin-up, real name Tila Nguyen, checked into an unidentified clinic to undergo 30 days of psychiatric treatment following an alleged suicide attempt.
A spokesperson for the former Celebrity Rehab star tells TMZ.com the 30-year-old has returned home after receiving help for substance abuse and psychological issues.
The rep adds, "(She) has successfully completed her program in rehab and has safely made her way back home. She has fully recovered, and is currently spending time with her closest family and friends.

Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina has signed up to a new celebrity hotline service allowing fans to get directly in touch with her so she can "tell the truth" about tabloid rumours.
Dina Lohan, her ex-husband Michael Lohan, former Party of Five actor Jeremy London and reality TV star Tila Tequila are among the names available to contact via Dial-a-Star.com, which charges U.S. callers a minimum of $50 (£31.25) and between $10 (£6.25) and $25 (£15.63)-a-minute to speak to the stars.
American talk show host Wendy Williams called the hotline to chat to Dina Lohan on Thursday morning and caught the Mean Girls actress' mum in the middle of household chores at her home in Long Island, New York.

Amid conflicting rumors about her recent hospitalization, reality TV star Tila Tequila is heading to rehab.
Tequila was rushed to the hospital on Feb. 29 after cops found her unresponsive in her Studio City, Calif., home. According to some sources, the diminutive star downed two bottles of prescription painkillers after suffering an aneurysm. Others, though, claim it was a suicide attempt and that Tequila had been threatening to kill herself in recent weeks.
Tequila has reportedly checked in to the Palm Partners rehavb center near Miami, Fla.

Reality TV star Tila Tequila has agreed to enter rehab following her hospitalisation in Los Angeles last Wednesday, according to a U.S. report.
The star was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital for psychiatric treatment after an alleged suicide attempt and she was discharged on Monday to continue her recovery at home.
Tequila's manager has now told TMZ.com the star has agreed to enrol at a rehab clinic for further treatment.
