Michael-John Wolfe is originally from Wallingford, Connecticut, a small town just outside of New Haven. At the age of 23, he moved to Greenville, South Carolina, where he was the owner of a limousine service.
His first acting role was in a regional commercial for Charter High Speed Internet. After obtaining as much work as he could in the Southeast, "M.J." moved to Hollywood in September 2003 to pursue his dreams.
In his first six months in Los Angeles, Michael-John managed to land two Day Player credits. The first was as a hotel clerk in Collateral (2004), starring Tom Cruise. The second was as a bartender in Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005), where Michael-John had direct dialogue with Brad Pitt. Michael-John also portrayed Cary Grant in Martin Scorsese's The Aviator (2004), starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
