Don’t be fooled by WWE Over The Limit’s lacklustre buildup, where the PPV itself has been derived of any real strong individual story lines, the matches themselves hold they’re own strengths and intrigue. The WWE title bout itself is said to be an Internet fanboys dream. A World Heavyweight title contest pitting 4 men who have all had their own brush with the Gold against each other. John Laurinitis set to get his comupence from John Cena, while the rest of card is a general affair.

 

Pre Show – Zack Ryder vs Kane

This will mark the third consecutive show that WWE have aired a teaser prior to their PPV, giving fans a small taster of what to expect and WWE’s last ditch attempt to garner those additional PPV buys.

Welcome back to Straight Shoot. If you haven't already, catch up on your wrestling with this week's WWE Monday Night Raw recap. Then follow writer Aubrey Sitterson on Twitter and make sure to check back every Thursday afternoon for a new Straight Shoot.

It's easy to take the Undertaker for granted. The guy controls lightning and dresses like an extra in a John Wayne movie in a day and age when it's not exactly in vogue to be a gimmick wrestler. Also, he's been wrestling in WWE more-or-less consistently since 1990, making him arguably more of a fixture in the company character-wise than even Vince McMahon. But even if he's only wrestling a single big match per year, Undertaker is still an incredibly important piece of WWE's DNA, owing largely to his status as wrestling's greatest throwback.

WWE Future Endeavoured Class of 2011 Video

The annual fan-made video celebrating the class of 2011 Future Endeavoured (i.e. those in the WWE who have left the company in the past year) has been released on Youtube. This year’s list includes 16 wrestlers and personalities who were let go this past year and including the huge surprises of David Hart Smith and Chris Masters being let go when many felt like they could have been SuperStars for years. Finlay, Chavo Guerrero and John Morrison obviously will also be missed having been great servants for the company over the past decade.
