If it wasn’t official already, let it be known that Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez grew up good. I was just remarking on ineffective teasers when talking about a recent Dexter promo, and now I’m struck with the exact opposite with these Springbreakers images that I caught over at Collider. I probably still won’t watch it, though am not against the notion in any way, but I’m defintely at least taking a gander as it walks on by. Springbreakers stars Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine… and James Franco. It’s directed by Harmony Korine who wrote the ’90s childhood crusher Kids. I was a part of that generation and Kids, for a minute, was just that movie that was being passed around for something other than entertainment (though hindsight diminishes it quite a bit).

We’ve already posted plenty of images from director Harmony Korine’s spring break pic Spring Breakers, but now even more pics of the bikini-laden cast have surfaced online. The film stars Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine as four college girls who rob a fast food joint in order to pay for their spring break. So what exactly is Harmony Korine's "Spring Breakers" going to be? With a star-driven and somewhat random cast including James Franco, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson and more, it seems like the wildly singular director is aiming for the mainstream. But then again, one can never discount Korine's prankster spirit, so who knows if this is just a bigger budget "Trash Humpers." Either way, everyone involved has been more than eager to show off what they've been up to, with a seemingly endless supply of stills and set pics making their way online. And the movie even had a ginormous billboard up at Cannes, the kind usually reserved for blockbusters. We're still not sure what to expect, but until we find out, here are more cheescake pics of the cast.

Despite being mysteriously listed in the Cannes schedule as simply ‘séance spéciale’, word quickly spread online and at Cannes that the festival had organised a special preview of exclusive footage to be shown to the press attending.
Described on the night by master of ceremonies Thierry Fremaux as an experiment (this was gleamed from the small amounts of French that I was able to understand) the event was a one off screening of trailers, teasers, clips and footage of upcoming films. These included a number of trailers that I won’t go into detail about here as they were all trailers already available online, such as Frankenweenie, Chimpanzee and The Brave but there were also a few exclusives too.

As soon as Universal Pictures won the motion-picture rights to the best-selling Bdsm-themed trilogy "Fifty Shades Of Grey," Internet users began fantasy casting their favorite actors for the lead roles of dominant billionaire Christian Grey and virginal college student Anastasia Steele.
Since the trilogy evolved from "Twilight" fan fiction, Twihards naturally want to see Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson reprise their roles as Bella and Edward, but with whips, chains and no fangs.
Thankfully, the on- and off-screen couple haven't expressed an explicit interest in the film.
“I haven’t read the book yet -- so I don’t know,” Stewart told Celebuzz when asked if she could picture herself and Pattinson playing these roles, and it bodes well that she could barely get through a short passage from the book when asked to read it aloud for MTV's Josh Horowitz.

Vanessa Hudgens was looking more than a little leggy in super-tight spandex shorts that she wore to the gym on May 17.
Both the 23-year-old actress and her younger sister Stella looked ready to break a sweat while sporting the tiny shorts, which showed off their toned legs.
Though the shorts definitely show a lot of skin, they are nothing compared to the neon bikinis that Hudgens wore for a month straight on the set of "Spring Breakers," along with co-stars Selena Gomez and Ashley Benson.
And the former "High School Musical" star wasn't the only ex-Disney starlet to flaunt her legs yesterday. Hudgens' pal Miley Cyrus proved she's also a fan of hot pants, and drew quite a crowd when she was spotted leaving her Miami hotel wearing a tight black tube top and high-waisted white booty shorts.

Writer-director Harmony Korine (Mister Lonely) is expected to bring us one of the most unique films of the year in the form of Spring Breakers.
Its uniqueness is expected in large part because it has such a diverse cast, led in the female roles by Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, and Rachel Korine (Harmony’s wife), and in the male role by James Franco.
The colourful first banner for the film has surfaced online, via KinoPoisk, featuring a gun-toting Franco opposite the bikini-clad Benson, Gomez, Hudgens, and Korine. And to add to that, IMDb also have an updated synopsis written by one of the production companies, Muse Productions, revealing a few extra details:

Like Hudgens, it looks like Gomez is trying to shed those Disney clothes that she's become associated with. Here's what she had to say in the interview that came along with the pictures:
I was getting kind of repetitive in terms of the roles I was picking, and I really wanted to do something that was completely different. One of the more intriguing projects hitting the Cannes Film Festival market next week will be Harmony Korine's Spring Breakers. It's intriguing because the experimental Korine is not the sort of filmmaker you expect behind a project involving Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, Heather Morris and spring break debauchery, especially when one of his more recent films was about elderly people who hump trash.
