This half-hour comedy revolves around Harry Dacosta (Adam Korson) -- a likeable bartender and permanent bachelor. He enjoys life and spends his time avoiding responsibilities. One day, Harry discovers that his previous forays into the world of sperm donation has resulted in kids -- lots of them. He soon finds himself entangled in the lives of his newfound children and their less-than-thrilled families.
Harry becomes an overnight father figure to nine-year-old Billy and teenage Anastasia, when he discovers that both their families used his sperm. »
The CW has aquired the rights to air Seed here in the Us. It's a half-hour comedy that premiered in Canada in February and has become the City network's highest-rated original comedy to date.
Seed follows the life of Harry Dacosta (Adam Korson), a single, underachieving bachelor and bartender who's also been a sperm donor. He reluctantly finds himself entangled in the lives of his new-found children and their less-than-thrilled families. They include a laid-back lesbian couple with a nine-year-old son, a neurotically hopeful single mom-to-be, and an uptight, upper-class family with a rebellious teenage daughter.
