Won at Lowe's Motor Speedway in October 2002 while filling in for an injured Sterling Marlin. Became the first driver in Winston/Nextel Cup series history to win in only his second career start.
Won the 2010 Daytona 500 and 2010 Brickyard 400, becoming only the third driver in history to win both these races in one season. Dale Jarrett was the first in 1996, and Jimmie Johnson the second in 2006.
Currently lives in Statesville, North Carolina.
