19 September 2016 3:00 AM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

Where in the world was Beyoncé? The music superstar was planning on attending the Emmys, but a source tells me she called in sick. "She wanted to be there," a source tells me. "But at the last minute, decided it was better if she stayed home because she really was feeling that bad." And contrary to reports speculating that she was planning on giving a surprise performance, I'm told that was never part of the Lemonade superstar's plans. What else didn't you see on TV last night? Beyoncé and Jay Z Take a Relaxing Getaway With Blue Ivy in France

1 August 2016 11:50 AM, PDT | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

Beyoncé may be in the middle of her Formation World Tour, but she's still making time to kick back and relax with family. Last week, the singer popped up in Nice, France, with her husband, Jay Z, and their 4-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy. The trio was also joined by Beyoncé's mom, Tina Knowles Lawson; her husband, Richard; and a group of family members. Beyoncé looked happy and relaxed as she strolled through the sand and smiled while snapping photos of the group on board a yacht. Beyoncé's downtime came just before she returned to the stage in Frankfurt, Germany, and Brussels, Belgium. She and her family also spent some time in Paris recently, where she and Blue wore matching dresses for a photo shoot in front of the Eiffel Tower, and Jay Z was outed as Bey's "Instagram husband" in a now-viral photo. »

So it only makes sense that in between shows, Queen Bey and Jay Z's family set out to explore the south of France on a boat ride.  Needless to say, things got a little adventurous during the outing and Tina Knowles felt inspired to jump right off the boat and into the water with all her clothes. Leave it to the adorable toddler to step in with her grandma's well-being in mind, as a video shared on a Beyoncé fan site shows the whole »

Fun Fact: Beyoncé Did Not Like Her Wedding Dress, According to Her Mom

29 June 2016 7:35 AM, PDT | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

Beyoncé and Jay Z tied the knot way back in 2008, but it wasn't until 2011 that fans finally got a sneak peek at their stunning ceremony in her video for "I Was Here." Then in 2014, the couple shared private home videos during their joint On the Run world tour, which included adorable snippets of their vacations, daughter Blue Ivy, and their superprivate wedding. While Beyoncé looked stunning in her strapless gown, her mother, Tina Knowles, who designed the dress, recently revealed that her daughter wasn't such a big fan of the look. During an appearance on Today on June 24, Tina said, "She was so sweet to let me do that. She came back later one day and she said, 'You know, when my daughter gets married, I'm going to let her pick out her own dress.' Maybe she wasn't so excited about it at the time, but she's a sweetheart. »

Tina Knowles "Hurt and Disappointed" After Beyoncé's Fans Accuse Her of Lying in Bet Awards Speech

28 June 2016 5:56 AM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

Tina Knowles ain't sorry. Beyoncé surprised viewers when she opened the 2016 Bet Awards Sunday by performing "Freedom" with Kendrick Lamar. She left the venue immediately after the performance, but given that she was nominated in six categories, the 34-year-old singer asked her 62-year-old mother to stay and accept any awards on her behalf. It was a good thing she thought ahead, as she won the Coca-Cola Viewers' Choice Award and Centric Award, and was also named Best Female R&B/Pop Artist. After "Formation" won Video of the Year, Knowles took the stage. "Wow, this is heavy. On behalf of my beautiful daughter, who is on a plane—she had to run straight from the stage and get on the »

Beyoncé definitely loves to surprise us! Months after unleashing her genre-shattering Lemonade album on an unsuspecting world, the Queen stunned fans with a slay-worthy performance of her song "Freedom", opening Sunday night's Bet Awards with a bang. She had the Beyhive guessing when some of her backup dancers were spotted walking the red carpet for the 16th annual event, causing the faithful to ring the alarms and get in formation around their TVs. Sure enough, Mrs. Carter made good by bursting onto the stage for a full choreographed routine. Wearing a black lace-print unitard with shingles and flanked by dancers in body paint, »

Beyoncé Shows Up at the Bet Awards, Because She's All About Surprises

26 June 2016 5:25 PM, PDT | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

Beyoncé hasn't attended the Bet Awards since 2012, but she broke that streak on Sunday night when she showed up as a surprise (hey, she's all about surprises). Queen Bey opened the show with a flawless performance of "Freedom" and had the crowd in hysterics as she and Kendrick Lamar kicked water at each other throughout the powerful song. While rumors floated for weeks that Beyoncé would show up - she's nominated for five awards and her protégés Chloe x Halle performed - an appearance didn't seem too likely until her squad of dancers stomped the red carpet during the Bet preshow and sent social media into a frenzy when they posed for photos while literally in formation. Luckily, Beyoncé came through and blessed us with her presence, even if it was quick - Bey had to jet off to the UK for her series of concerts this week, and her mom, »

Beyoncé Poses With Her "Proud Dad" at Her Houston Concert

A photo posted by Tina Knowles (@mstinalawson) on May 18, 2016 at 8:39pm Pdt Beyoncé may have teased a rocky relationship with her father, Mathew Knowles, in her new album, Lemonade, but it looks like she is putting that drama to the side. During the singer's Formation tour, the two posed for a sweet photo that was shared by Beyoncé's mom, Tina Knowles-Lawson, on Instagram on Thursday. "Houston Concert proud dad!!!!" she wrote. While the singer's album lyrics hinted at marital problems with husband Jay Z, a lot of fans were convinced that she was also referencing her parents' broken marriage. In 2011, the former couple divorced after over 30 years together, and Beyoncé also severed her business relationship with her father, who had been her manager since her Destiny's Child days. Well, if this new photo is any indication, it looks like Bey is putting the past behind her. »
