Mellicent Dyane has over fifteen years of professional experience as a Casting Director, Production Assistant and Environmental Enthusiast. She began her career in entertainment as a freelancer for AT&T in California while studying Business & Sports Communications at Los Medanos College. Her duties included monitoring casting projects and making production decisions. After demonstrating her keen eye for marrying the right talent with key client projects, she was offered a full time position as a Casting Director where she supervised a staff of fifteen. She then moved on to the CBS Network in California as a floater going from the casting department to the sports desk. Realizing that with casting she could do it on her own...she stopped ignoring her entrepreneurial spirit and started Dyane*Foster Film & Casting.

Personally, Mellicent was born in San German Puerto Rico and has been an environmental activist since before the term "green" became popular. She is constantly spreading awareness of going green through networking events, conferences, family and friends. Helping to promoting simple methods for individuals and families to make responsible environmental decisions. She is proud of the fact that she lives in an 80% green home that will soon be 100% chemical free.

She has been a member of several charitable and civic organizations including NYWIFT (New York Women in Film & Television), NYILFF (New York International Latino Film Festival) former board member 1999-2004, NAMIC (National Association of Minorities in Communication) New York Chapter Co-Chair of Membership 1997-00, American Indian Community House, The YWCA, She's a member of Big Brothers-Big Sisters. She has been a recipient of Latinas Unidas, "Latina of the Year" Award for her contributions to the Latino community. She was recently named to the Cambridge Who's Who's among the top 25 entrepreneurs of 2008 through 2010.

Always staying true to her entrepreneurial spirit, while juggling several projects and passions, Mellicent is developing three shows for Television, authoring a book about her mother's inspirational life story and launching a Real Estate Investment Company.
